I would really like Trevor Bayne/Bill Elliot's Motorcraft suit, but I know that won't happen :lol:. I think it looks nice as well.

Don't get me wrong. I don't care how people get it, or what they do with it, but I know some people will care quite a bit. Won't be surprised if PD tries to put a stop to it like they capped the car trades.
 
Yeah. I like the idea of it being traded. I mean, some people may not have the ability to win it and may really want it, and I think its cool that they can all have it :).
 
Can the helmet and suit be separate? I don't have it yet so... yeah...
 
I wish there was a much better system in general. Why place a cap when you could have a pokémon style trade system for gear/items and an auction house for your cars. Honestly why haven't they thought it when so many games use a system for mass trading. And they don't have the excuse from not playing pokémon, it's everywhere!
 
I don't think I'll use the suit but I don't want to trade it, I'll keep it as a prize. The experience was well needed though, it almost got me to level 37.

I'll do both, will do the event on another account and gift myself it while wearing my original. :sly:

As for the seasonal event itself, pretty much the most boring one so far I think. 👎
 
Yeah, you can send the custom gear no problem. Played the first and last Nascar events. I am not the best of drivers but they are EASY! Took first place on Suzuka on the 4th of 7 laps.

Lol, If they can't win with SRF on then I feel srry for them.
 
If SRF was forced off that suit would be much harder to get! :p
 
They're not just easy thought, I mean, it felt like a Sunday drive! It would have been nice if they'd been a lot more laps and required a pit stop. But at least it's something new.

Has any one found out if the prizes are repeatable yet?
 
It appears I lack NASCAR driving skills. I must place TCS on due to wheel spin and such. I hate these cars so much...
 
I happen to think the cars are relatively simple to drive. I think adding TCS would reduce the level of enjoyment.
 
I thank PD for bringing this event, fantastic work but what were they thinking? This event was sooo easy! The suzuka race I was already leading on lap 3. Why did they have to put SRF ON? I was racing by myself basically. If some people cant beat this, MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON THEM! GT5 really needs something challenging. Only event in the whole game that really challenged me was the X2010 challenge. Besides that, the game is a walk in the park.

So, as of 1:12 PM 29/8, Beijing time, there are no updates available on either the NASCAR seasonal races or the bug fixes.

They're supposedly going live on the 29th (possibly 30th) but as of yet, 1 hour off Japanese time, I've yet to find any new updates.

Keep it posted here if you have any news or the updates go live in your area.

I'll be checking in within 8 hours of now to notify any changes, providing I'm not beaten to it!

Nascar seasonal events are up and running way too easy,4 races get muscle car,modern muscle car and nascar tickets for first three and special outfit for 7 laps suzuka boring take first spot after 3rd lap
 
you can't win the prize money twice.

Just finished the Suzuka race to win the Jeff Gordon prize suit and sadly, it wasn't very challenging. All aids off except ABS 1, TC 1 and SRF on (which is grayed out and cannot be changed!!). The challenge doesn't permit any tuning but that's not necessary as the car is provided to you.

Finished the race with a 12.4 secs lead with lap times averaging 2.01-2.02 with a first lap of 2.04.

Was hoping for these challenges to be like to old ones, which were actually challenging.

For those wondering, you get both the suit and helmet in one package. You can view the prize under your player info->Special Outfit. It seems you have to wear both the suit and helmet and can't mix and match with others.

Yes, that was easy too. The Fiat 500 was a little hard, took me 3 tries. Besides this, the others were easy.

Don't think so, I re-entered a race and at the start screen the reward money at the bottom was faded out. My guess is you can't win the XP twice either.
