I has some work done on my V2 pedals and the gas pedal has the sensor missing. Where can I buy this and how do I install it?

thanks

You can get it from fanatec, they are not expensive from memory I bought one for my handbrake mod. Install I'm not 100% sure on, I just used trial and error on my handbrake to get the magnet in the right position

I had to replace the hall sensor on my CSPv2 throttle a 2nd time and this time it was out of warranty.
They sell those sensors in a set, so you get one throttle sensor and one clutch sensor. I paid $24 shipped to US.

As for install, the little PCB sits inside a small cover. If that is missing as well, you might want to order that as well, it doesn't come with the sensors. I found a picture of one on a v1 version that is not covered, so while the cover is protective you may be able to get by without it.

The sensor gets placed in the cover and 3 small plastic spacers go between the PCB and pedal so that it sits proud of the surface once screwed in place. You do not want to crank down here, just snug so you don't compress the spacers/washers.
The only difference between the 2 sensors (clutch and throttle) is the length of the wire.

Why did you have to replace the sensor? If it was spiking, you just need to move it away from the pedal a bit, so there's more separation where those white washers are placed.

Pedals modded to the remove the sensor was all the rage a while ago, but the modern European minimalist design was all style and no substance.

Though apparently Gran Turismo players who removed their speakers are still quite satisfied, and continue to adhere to the ethos.
