Wasn't it just a static system in the beta? Some parts of the map were night and some were dusk/dawn, but it didn't actually change while you were playing.
It was indeed. If I recall correctly it wasn't very smooth, either and I hope that issue is addressed in the final game.

It will be quite infuriating if doing donuts on a certain patch of road will make the sky go all idiotic.

It will be a similar system to the one used in Rivals where a point on the map changes the lighting, i've never tried doing donuts on the exact spot but I can imagine it would cause some issues if you loiter around on that point. It was fairly obvious that a "dusk til dawn" cycle would never be dynamic but a static system that changes depending on where you are on the map is a fairly poor way of doing it.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is that pop up headlights actually function. When you turn the engine off in an RX-7 or NSX or any car with pop ups, the lights go down and then go back up when you start driving again.

Ghost Games added some new screenshots to the official site. They didn't mention it anywhere for some reason.

Looks like maybe we'll have 'default' style wraps for cars like the AE86. If not that's some pretty silly promotion.

I'm generally leaning on the "getting it" side of the fence, but I'm still not sure I'm going to get much play out of it versus FH2. That said, provided the Photomode UI is competent, I imagine I'd get a lot of play out of that aspect; this game tends to look fantastic.

Thinking the same thing. I don't expect the career to be that interresting, but I'm probably going to finish the story and spend hundreds of hours building cars.

The starter cars (which we knew anyway due to the beta) have officially been confirmed

Those graphics... I fear it may become a rubbish game, but it will look awesome.

Got EA Access and pre-downloaded the standard edition of the game.
I can't wait to play again on the 29th. :D

....is that surprising? Not sure how else they would work :p Apparently you can actually change how far up the headlights pop which is cool. You can see in that shot they aren't fully up.

Correct me if im wrong but , i think nsx's headlights are already half opened in stock .

Yeah you're right they are quite low even in stock form, they posted on twitter saying you can "lower the headlights" maybe they just meant they go up and down.

You can see here the NSX lights are quite low even in stock form, compared to other pop-up style lights. I just don't get why they would brag about them working, it would be pretty embarrassing if they were just open up all the time. Actually I just remembered the F40 in Rivals had the lights open all the time, so it must be a big advancement for Ghost  other games have been doing this for a while.

For the customization, it follows the urban car culture that is today. It has Rocket Bunny, RWB, RTR, Origin Labs, Varis and other aftermarket manufacturers. It will also feature some Ghost/Speedhunters made bodykits(as evidenced in the 2015 MX5 car). Also the customization will let you modify arches, fenders, splitters mirrors, head/taillights. You can either put in a bodykit or put in your own mix of bumpers, spoilers, or hoods. The game itself is more of a spiritual successor to Underground/Carbon which is great.

As for the beta itself, I can't answer that since I wasn't able to play it.

Thanks.

Found the M3 GTR Most Wanted gameplay :

Found this NSX gameplay too

Am I the only one with the impression that MW M3 looks slow?

As far as I have read on NFS Wikia, the BMW M3 MW is actually the same BMW M3 GTR that raced LMGT, but turbocharged and non-air-restricted (or maybe it is the N24 BMW M3 GTR featured on Gran Turismo 5/6 as "BMW M3 GTR Race Car 01"). And for that very reason it is a special car, that justified the "player" efforts on MW to win 15 guys (the whole blacklist) just to get it back instead of collecting money just to tune a road car BMW M3 GTR. The BMW M3 MW used to be the fastest car on curves on MW (because it was the only race car and not just another tuner). In this NFS MW it just looks like they tuned badly a BMW M3 GTR Road Car and put the NFS MW livery on it...At least it is what it looks like on the video for me.

Er.... That is just an M3 E46 with the M3 GTR bodykit. Which means different engine, same exterior.

I think Ghost has stated that we will be able to recreate the MW car using a normal E46, not the real M3 GTR.

What a shame =(.
I had a read on the wikia and that is true. The bodykit is even already on others NFS...
