Just to be sure, is that an Evo 8 or Evo 9? Also, hi Wicken. (Remember World-Garage?)
I'd say it's the Evolution IX MR-Edition, like in World

GREAT REPLY DUDE! Have something to say? How about saying it. Culture is all about the appreciation of what makes something what it is, and focusing on a such a small band of years, isn't very cultural.

Jesus Christ.

I did have something to say, and that was "wat."

Could you at least tone down on the hostility? When I said "wat," I meant "I really didn't at all follow you."

And I still don't follow you.

Tone it down...

Toned down:

Then explain your self on WHY you don't get me when I have said nothing wrong at all, rather than a three word reply that is not even a word. You have a problem with my explanation of what car culture is? Then explain why, sorry if it was hostile but I hate replies like that.

Any way, nothing I have said is false so not sure what's not to get. Something doesn't "get cultured" over night, 90's and 00's cars have a level of rep in the world that had exceeded for decades now, not to mention 70's and 80's cars. These icons of eras thus, have an extreme level of culture, of love, of affection, of art and history in the automotive world that modern day can't quite match.

Cars as far back as the original 86 Civic SI, the Fiesta XR2, the Escorts and Golfs, the Mazdas and Toyotas, the Nissans and Dodges, the Chevvys and the Shelbys, The Evos and Subbys of the world too and ofc the original Inline monsters and mice, so many cars over the year have an astonishing level of respect even as we approach 2016. NFS used to represent this with it's Underground series and Carbon/MW series by showing off and including the cars that really stood out, that screamed culture, affection, passion.

Yes, the 5 years is no exception completely with modern cars like the ST and RS Focus, the MX-5s and BRZs etc of the world, but my point is, Speedhunters, focus a hell of a lot more on "classic" as do the 5 icons in the trailers we have seen because of one simple reason, the cars have grown up with rep that has lasted donkeys years, almost forever, gained and been cultured to an extent where you can some car culture up from terms of "popularity" between 1980-2005, the 25 golden years that so far, remains unchecked.

I am not saying that a 2009-2016/17 cars "won't" become this, but right now, they are not, they have been round long enough. My city did not earn "capital of culture" because it was a brand new city of 3 or 5 years, it earned it for the 50+ years of history involved with it's evolution and the culture that has developed from it. Do you get me now?

Keep spoilered for sake of it's off topic.

Dude we don't even have a car list, and from what we have seen they have covered the classic sports/supercars from the 70s'/80's all the way through to todays cars so what's the problem.

Noticed one more thing, not sure whats the car behind the Porsche
Not many cars I know have black side skirts. I can't think of any other than GTR, but GTR usually has thinner side skirts

List me a decent selection of 70/80s cars you know of confirmed for NFS15 excluding the Porsche?

I think I should leave this thread, I think my mind is made up about this game and I am just going on and on about the same stuff.

I'll be back here on release day, to see the reviews, or if anything major happens to sway me.

He seems to have his knickers in a twist since his first posts in this thread. It's probably best to ignore him, as he seems to take everything way too seriously.

In the end it's just a game. I wouldn't worry too much.

@Krakenous, you might as well ignore the development of the game if you're judging things this early. Better yet, don't buy it if you're so offended by it. It looks to be that way, at least, based on your overreactions.

What part of no car list yet do you not understand?

Good. Leave.

No need to be an ass, the guy's entitled to his own opinion.

I may just stick around now :D. Thanks, love winding people like you up who are so hostile towards me, civil discussion? Fine, "rawrrrrrrrr your opinion is wrong!"? Not fine.

Nope, not at all. It's this thing could reality. EA have a piss poor track record with NFS, all i am doing is being rightfully critical, and so should more of us.

Ignore it? Been following every detail obsessively. Also, "this early" wtf? The game comes out in like 3 months, the game is pretty much DONE, complete, finished, if you still thing it's pre-alpha this late stage then lol, it's not, they are in the final ending beta bug squash + polishing phase now.

The part I don't understand is that part completely, we have yet to get one. Next question? Having fun here now, thanks.

And I love winding people like you up as well. ;) But this isn't the site for that, I'm afraid.

But in the end we're both just voicing opinions. You could be right with the game's misinterpretations on car culture, choice of cars, etc. But it can change. I can't confirm nor deny anything about the game, though. Just saying. 👍

I won't be getting the game early, though. I'll give it some time.

I don't think it's a GT-R. The A-pillar is usually black on the R35. It could be a modified one, however.

The 2015 Mustang is my guess, for some reason.

Videos look awesome ugh I won't be able to get the game until December so I'll be month late but it'll still be worth it :)

Interesting choice of characters. Here's a video I watched a few months ago that shows you more of Morohoshi-san's backstory:

I hope the ties with yakuza doesn't cause too much trouble. I WANT THAT DIABLO!!!!!!

If the launch goes smoothly online and EA doesn't reveal anymore shenanigans, I might actually buy this first week. Fingers crossed.

So they are having the Diablo, and presumably the Ferrari and 650S from No Limits...what happened to no super cars? Guess they changed their minds yet again.

Let's all assume everyone will be rolling Lambos and Mclarens in only as per every single NFS game ever then lol.

So far so average then.
The Diablo featured in the trailer was based off the one Morohoshi san owned in real life and let me tell you, Morohoshi san and his crew are Lambo fanatics so if you look into his information, you may see some riced Lambos in Japan. His crew is called Electric Lambo Crew.

Some of those Lambos look actually quite nice, like for example Morohoshi-san's black Diablo. Others... Not so much.

When was the last time we had a classic Porsche in a NFS game? I'm wondering.

Okay, there's only one car that's grabbing me in that trailer, and that's the Diablo. It was in the original Road and track presents NFS, now its in the reboot, that is really nice. The supra is in the game, which was also in the original NFS, and the porsche 911 is also in the game.

Being able to fully customize a diablo.. Damnit I may be leaning towards this. See I just purchased the crew on sale, I have been playing that for awhile, but there are quite a lot of flaws in that game that make EA look like a saint. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it, but the sale price was about all its worth. Car sounds are done poorly, the roads and textures need a lot of work, and no lambo countach or diablo.

I wonder if we can have a base Diablo VT to work with and turn it into whatever spec we desire, SV, GT, 6.0 etc.

The car list is actually getting quite desirable. very interesting, very interesting. I need to see more gameplay though.

Just wait for Gamescom....can't wait to start doing the Build career. Anyways during the Gamescom Trailer during the Build part, did anybody saw the wheel arches being customizable? Its just locked though.
