I think this system will work fine as long as we can sell our cars for a decent price. If we lose too much money then nobody will want to sell their more expensive cars, but I'm sure they will have made it so this doesn't happen. I think once we can afford 5 cars money won't be such a big issue so it will just be a matter of choosing what 5 cars you want in your garage at the time. We don't have to buy parts twice so if we sell and then re-purchase a car we won't lose loads of money customising it again.

If I can just weigh in, he's probably thinking of this signature-edition 240Z from NFS: The Run:

latest

Most 240z's still around are heavily modified these days so it's not surprising some people don't know what they look like in stock form :)

Well, i'm sure they will let us change the nose of the Z to to the original one without the G nose. I'll make a Devil Z out of that.
If Ventura Bay has a Wangan-like highways, I'll be making a Blackbird using a RWB Porsche.

I'll instead be making the legendary Devil Z. I've already recreated it in the two Forza Horizon games, I don't see why I shouldn't do it here as well.

Oh, and here's a little bonus: the full soundtrack has been (apparently) leaked! http://nfssoundtrack.com/nfs2015/

I think it's a pretty good soundtrack IMO, there's even some music from Monstercat (other than "Surface")! I personally, however, hope for a custom music option, I have my 200-track playlist up and ready.

I hope they make radio stations just like in FH2. For example, they can throw in some of the classic NFS songs from the Underground era.

I have some songs from both Underground games in my custom playlist (if you want to know, yes, that includes both "Get Low" and "Riders on the Storm").
I want Levitate(Hollywood Undead), Lean Back(Terror Squad), Nine Thou(Styles Of Beyond) and I Do(Chingy).

I'd like 'I Need Speed' (Capone), Destiny by Syntax (I recommend you give that a listen, it's awesome), Get Low would be on there as well.

I also really like the songs they have in the game, such as 'Push It', by Ishi, and Night Riders by Major Lazer. Love that song.

EDIT: I wanted a livery editor so much, and now we'll have one. The game is so nearly complete, all I need now is an AE86.

Considering it's a NFS game which are usually known to not be expansive in that area...yes. Unless you plan to rally, do V8 supers, NASCAR, touring cars, prototypes, F1, street race, time attack, drag race, hill climb and so on...most of which you can't do I see no reason why five can't suffice. Other than wanting to have every car under the sun to just have em. I mean if your a pro builder and want this game and are known for builds like in GT I can see the loss, but for anyone else I stick to my original view.
That's fine for you to want to stick to your view, however, that does not take away from the point I was making. I wasn't talking about all that, so I'm not sure how you came to that. You'll obviously have different levels or tiers of racing. It would be nice to be able to build a car into those other tiers, or keep them held back. What would add to that would you being able to purchase the same car to build for its different tears. With it being restricted to 5, that severely limits how you would approach a situation.

For this game it will have to be. I think it will be quite fun and achieve the relationship/bond they're trying to get from the players.
I'm not seeing how it has to be that way though. I build bonds to the plenty of cars I have on games that don't have cap limits. It restricting me to 5 isn't changing anything other then not letting me build more bonds.

The only difference between the five stages is drifting and everything else from the looks is the same just with different goals, set up variation shouldn't be any different. The options are simple, what a four cylinder rwd, 6 cyl, 8cyl, 10cyl? Or is Awd your pref? Easy 5 to me.
I don't have a problem picking 5 cars, especially with the limited list. I have a problem being forced to only stick by 5. I'd like an option for more.

I disagree, for obvious reasons but I still respect your opinion. I'll be fine with five.
👍 and I, yours.

Oh god. Please be genuine

Plenty of proper bass. Urban game, urban music. Ew, Flosstradamus. Yay, KTN. Also, new stuff from Matt Rose (ex Qemists frontman), interesting to see what he's been up to besides guesting on other people's songs... and damn, Phace? Bit heavy innit

No it doesn't, nor is it meant to. Rather it's just me saying we're not going to be agreeing any time soon or at all. However, please expand how exactly it limits you, with the game play/types already being highly limited.

Or letting you build closer bonds to those five than if you had say ten. It may happen it may not, in the end it will have some effect on you guys.

I just don't see it I'm afraid, the problem that is. That's really the heart of the issue you'll face and I'll face as opposing. I think the game will be equally fun between the two situations (five limited or unlimited).

Thanks.

Well, Underground 2 had this EBM/Industrial song in the playlist. ;)

Oh, and I have the album version of "Nasty" on my custom playlist.

I feel it'll be limiting because the way I play. I like to build a car around many different instances. Be it for drifting, high speed runs, circuit racing, and so on. I sometimes like one car so much that I'd buy it multiple times to set it up differently for each case. A load tune set-up can somewhat alleviate that, though, I suppose. I'd still just love the option to have more though. With a loading set-up, you'd have to stick with the same looking car. Picky, I know, but I'd prefer to have them seperated, rather then in bulk. I'd just prefer to not be limited.

Another would be photomode, if it is implemented. Am I going to be allowed to drive and modify any car I want while in the world? If not then that's a bit bothersome if you want to open up a gallery or something(it's something I do in any game that has a photomode.) If it does let us, then why restrict it to 5 if you'd just be able to drive any car?

Or letting you build closer bonds to those five than if you had say ten. It may happen it may not, in the end it will have some effect on you guys.
The thing is though, atleast in my case, if I'm buying the car, its because I have a bond with it in the first place. I don't just buy everything, but I certainly am not only going to like just 5 cars. I don't think it's going to strengthen any bonds for me.

I just don't see it I'm afraid, the problem that is. That's really the heart of the issue you'll face and I'll face as opposing. I think the game will be equally fun between the two situations (five limited or unlimited).
Oh no, I agree. The fun from the game is still going to be the same. I also find fun from having multiple cars to just cruise around in, though.
