I've been playing for a while now and a few things to note:

- One of the characters you meet, Spike, is the most punchable person I've ever seen in a game

- Sick bruh, man.

- If you got an upgrade for every fist bump you do in cutscenes you could upgrade all of the cars in no time

- You get more phone calls than Nico does in GTA 4. Seriously, these guys must have huge phone bills.

- It is always wet. Never question why, it just is.

- The female mechanic is kinda hot.

10/10 100% Accurate

Also, it's a great feeling of starting out and thinking "Hey, I can't wait to unlock all these cool things!"

And within 2 hours everything is unlocked and there's hardly anything and you can't mix some parts with others.

WHY EA. ****ING WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

It seems that if you hit opponent hard enough they turn on blinkers at 2:58. Does this mean that this game will have blinkers, toggleable lights, and ignition? Or toggleable convertible tops. I hope so

Thought you were not allowed to post anything from the Beta, anyway the driving still is my biggest fear and concern and watching that video doen't ease them.

I'm still not sure if I should be posting about the beta on these forums, I can't read the NDA and they haven't answered me on Twitter...

As long as they don't know your username what are they going to do? Just don't post any footage or pictures and you will be fine.

My username is in my profile

I highly doubt anyone will be checking the gtplanet forums, they are just monitoring youtube, twitch etc. Everyone is discussing stuff on reddit and nobody seems to care.

There was a district in Undercover called Port Crescent. Are you maybe referring to that one?

Evo 5 or 6 in the middle left of screen, bottom left car has a roll cage? Haven't heard about interior mods yet

I got into the Beta, currently downloading it. Problem is, I will have to wait several hours to play it.

Can anyone confirm/disconfirm if there is a separate arcade mode with more than 5 garage?

Everything else is perfect but this is make or break for me :nervous:

How about we make a private group conversation? That way we can share gameplay.

The only way to play the game is through the career mode. Sorry.

You know what ? 5 car garage maybe isn't that bad. Looking at the car list again, i have pretty much covered which cars that i want to keep permanently (R32 GTR, Focus RS, Mustang Boss, probably 240ZG and Challenger SRT8 or Ferrari F40) and which cars i'll buy just for the kicks (lots of them).

No, it is bad, nomatter what way you look at it, I like to have freedom in my games, and i like have Alot of projects, like i can in GT, Forza and The Crew, i don't want to be tied down to just 5 vehicles, i like to have a plethora of different projects that i can complete or tweak as i please without the worry of running out of space, the 5 reveal and career only was a major blow to me, couple that with the No cockpit view, Manual Transmission and always online..and EA managed to strike again, i had..ridiculous hype for this game when i first saw the trailer, Now it's just a fizzle.

For you maybe, for him and others it isn't. And as we've been over this before this isn't GT or FM nor should you have expected it to be in any aspect, if you did that is solely your fault.

How's the AI? From what I've seen on Reddit, the rubberbanding is really strong. Apparently there's no pausing in single player mode, either. I know it's a Beta, but still...

The gameplay looks fairly bad to be honest, the AI is constantly crashing into you and each other and the rubber-banding is just insane. People are constantly calling you no matter where you are they will call in free roam, during a race, when you're in your garage modifying the car  it's even worse than GTA 4

So it's a good thing I didn't pre-order then?

How does the AI compare to Rivals?

I can assure you once this game is out to the general public and 1 month has passed since release (enough time to fill up and fully tune 5 cars), more and more people are going to start getting pissed that they are limited to 5 cars only. Many Underground fans have been waiting a long time for unlimited customization. Now that we get it, we are limited in what we can do.

I'm not expecting GT/FM with hundreds of cars, but I expect to be able to own 1 of each model. Just like it has always been in most previous NFS. If not in career mode, then at least in arcade mode or online.

It's not his fault for expecting something that is a no-brainer. It's not your fault either if you feel satisfied with 5 cars only. EA is the only one to blame here, for making inane decisions yet again that ruins an otherwise great game.

Five cars in career + unlimited in arcade and online should be the way to go.

Just because X game is not GT or Forza does not automatically mean it should be very limited on features, That is no excuse at all, 5 is just way too low in a game with over 50 cars, Like LeGeNd-1 said, at the most we should be able to own atleast one of each model in the game.

In my opinion, they should have used a garage setup similar to prostreet.

That's fine, and yet again why do you need to own one of each model? Other than owning all cars achievement and so on what does it really give you as far as the game goes...like I said and will stick with. Five is good for me and others and not for everyone. But if someone comes out and says "No it's not fine" toward another user as if they know better than them, that's an issue. If a person has issue with it fine but don't force it on others to agree with in some far off attempt (one can assume) to change it down the road.

And no, I never said it was his fault, but when you make links to why you expected it or wanted it a certain way due to simulator esque car collecting games...then yeah it is your fault. NFS in any life form has never been about full on garage collecting and probably will never be.

No one said that though, what was told to you is that if you expected that to any degree then you set yourself up for an upset. Because GG never gave any notion that would be the case. Your other arguments I feel have more validity but still it is what it is, and that is their take on the genre.
