What do you mean? Most of the gameplay I have seen is online with random players.

My understanding is online is free for all at the moment. You come across randoms and challenge them to an impromptu race. They can accept/decline the challenge. There's no online "lobby" where you can meet and invite friends and start pre-set races.

Nah I don't think you can, it's probably just to join or invite friends to a session but not set up a new one. I was just guessing, but I have heard a few times that there are no lobbies. I also noticed almost every time you exit the garage there's a random player parked right outside and you instantly crash into them

That's why it's really disappointing. Why have a "Crew" segment of career if you can't really form your own team and do challenges/races together. Imagine a team vs team 5 car tandem drift session. Or a photo meet of tuners vs exotic crews, each decked in their signature liveries. There should also be an online leaderboard with cumulative rep totals for each teams. Some teams might excel in speed, others in build, or some well rounded in everything.

The possibilities are endless and yet again EA/Ghost fails to deliver...

One thing that annoyed me about it is that if you want to just join a freind's session you have to join their crew in order to do it. Which is kinda stupid IMO.

6-7 sounds about right to me. Glad the scores aren't inflated like it was for Rivals.

They bring up a good point regarding online. Despite the touted "always online benefits are nice", the actual online is meh and there is absolutely no reason to keep it always online.

Like one of the commenters said, at this point I'd rather Ghost gets renamed back to Criterion and see Burnout revived than another NFS.

Is it just me or is the visual exhaust tip with 4 long pipes (the one that sticks up in the air) the ONLY tip that actually changes the exhaust sound???

63 average on Xbox One. I can live with most of the flaws but slightly concerned that it can't maintain a stable framerate though. :indiff:

And many people complained on the PC delay because of that.

I was super excited for this game. But after so much that I've watched and read, I lost so much hype and completely forgot it came out today where I am.

Yeah, but I don't get why the framerate is an issue now since the beta was using an older build an ran smoothly for me. I may wait a month or two before picking up a copy now.

I'm one of those that's ok with no MT, because AT in past games have generally been usable. But after seeing this...

...yet again ANOTHER epic fail by Ghost. If you're not going to include MT, at least program AT properly :banghead:

Haven't heard any complaints for the PS4 version, should be fine.
That's good. Although I'm not sure why the XB1 version has framerate issues while the PS4 version doesn't.

See guys what did i tell you. Great customization, healthy car selection, and more good decisions, trumped by stupid decision that is always online no pause crud. Its not even a great multiplayer (Compared to other games its ok but since EA love licking online to the max its heavily dissapointing) . Among other technicial choices (not problems, mind you).

I agreed with all IGN says (with the exception of short story. Its meh, not too long but not too short either). But 6.3 is probably too far fetched. I give it around 7.5 to 7.8.

Sorry to correct you but Ghost Games aren't technically Criterion Games right? Ghost were formerly known as EA Gothenburg and although they are a different game developer, the team consists most of the employees from Criterion. But that doesn't mean that Ghost Games are Criterion. Criterion games are still around and they are currently making a new game *which I have no clue when they are going to release it*. But with Criterion's current team now from what I've heard, I don't think we'll ever get a new Burnout game anytime sooner. *I may be wrong about the team if it's good enough for a new Burnout.*

Honestly I think we all need to stay with Ghost Games for now on as I think there's plenty of room for improvement for their third NFS game or maybe even with NFS 2015. Keep in mind this is their second NFS game and that doesn't mean it's going to be way better than Rivals that it would be given an instant GOTY. Give them some time to learn from their mistakes. Heck they could make the game better than what it is right now with the free updates.

Also I will be picking up my copy of NFS 2015 later this afternoon.
