When Travis mentioned that he and Eddie go way back and they raced before, so does that means the mystery of the Player during the UG era is now solved since we've been playing Travis the whole time?
Nope. It's probably just a generic story to put some background to his inclusion.

If that's the case then are you playing as Travis in Most Wanted and Carbon as well?
Those games aren't (officially) connected with Underground.

Should have use the original widebody kit from the Underground for Eddie's car so it would look more like something unique instead of using bodykits from the 2015 game. But yeah i'm cool with this.

I know. How hard is it to model the old bodykit? :banghead: They also did this with the R34 in Most Wanted 2012. It doesn't even have a widebody and the rear wing is wrong. It makes it look butt ugly instead of awesome.

The best thing about the update has got to be the classic musics though. As someone who collects game OSTs, PS1 era NFS has always been my favourite (sorry to the Underground generation, but trance > hiphop/rap).
  • Aquila 303 – The Need for Speed (1994)
  • Menu – NFS II (1997)
  • Romulus 3 – NFS II (1997)
  • Sirius 909 – NFS III Hot Pursuit (1998)
  • Callista - NFS Road Challenge / High Stakes (1999)
  • Quantum Singularity – NFS 4 Road Challenge / High Stakes (1999)

Kudos to Ghost for remembering the roots 👍 But at the same time I also feel that the only way NFS is going to please fans is by pandering to nostalgia. There is just no innovation in the genre anymore.

Bloody hell, I never expected this game to be updated soo extensively in soo many areas. I'm going to have a great time changing the parts on my Lotus Exige. Let's hope that this song comes in another update:

I do know the map is all connected but i don't think they're all direct sequels.
Only Underground & Underground 2 and Most Wanted & Carbon are the 2 direct sequels. Most Wanted isn't a direct sequel to Underground 2 AFAICT

Checkpoints disappears in Eddie's Challenge at 9 & 11 and the car drives itself after a race.
WHAT A :censored:GAME!!!
Drives itself? Are you talking about post race results? And I fixed your sentence.

Rubberbanding fixed? Well.. I did beat the Supra with stock powered Volvo 242.. I knew that the NA MkIV Supras were slow but this takes the cake! Also, the Eddies challenge events are annoying and inconsistent difficulty wise.

I really hope Ghost continues to add more customization parts to cars as time goes on. If they could eventually get most of the cars to have as many options as the BRZ/GT86/FR-S, that would be great. But I think they should work on making the headlight/taillight options less redundant first. Let us be able to change the color of them at least.
