I got this game for Christmas, I told my dad to buy it only if it isn't $60. It started off pretty fun. The handling wasn't great, but I got the hang of it. The racing was pretty fun and the customization was fun too. But, I just hit the wall where the AI have 300+mph cars that can corner at full speeds it seems. It went from a fun arcady racing game to a "try to keep up" game. So, looks like I'm done!

Do you remember the name of the event? If it is a "build" race, you need to have a car producing at least 700hp to keep up and make sure . Races do become more challenging towards the end of story mode but they are not impossible once you have got the hang of the physics model.

"Marko's Collection" or something? I tried it first with my 730hp roughly RX7 and then again with my 760ish hp Porsche. I can fight with the AI cars, but Amy in her damn 180 gaps everyone by four seconds off the bat.

I just did that race today and it took more than a few attempts to finish first in my 800hp 991 Carrera S. :ouch: Have you ever started that event in 3rd position? That's when you have the best chance of winning. You will also be in more luck when the two AI cars which start ahead of you are something other than Amy's 180SX, that way you can just block her off when she comes behind you.

I only tried twice then raged out of it. Both times I started like half a second behind everyone.

Give yourself another 3 attempts. Ideally, the next attempt would put you in third ahead of Amy and it should be easier. If you didn't rage quit for Components Parts then this should be manageable. ;)

I raged at that one too, but that race was mixed in with the fun races still. Now it just all the crazy ones. That first one with Magnus Walker. WHAT.

Hi, I´m searching for a clan in this game in PS4. Just got the game 2 days ago and i´ve already completed the 50% of the events, I´m level 40. In NFS World there were lots of clans. Please if someone is interested on creating one or having me on their team please write to me. My PSN ID: Tiago-Rosa_NyW

Well after finding all the collectables, finishing the story and Eddie's challenge 100% I've been on the search for the best car. I've tried a few and I'm liking the M2 which maxed out seems to leave my M3 GTR and FoxBody anybody got some suggestions? I've heard the Murcielago SV is very fast when maxed.

The two fastest vehicles in the game when fully maxed are the '73 Porsche 911 RSR and the Lamborghini Aventador. The VW Golf Mk1 is also extremely quick.

Just, wow. My game lost connection to the servers (for whatever reason?), making two of my cars in the garage having both customization and performance upgrades reverted entirely. Fortunately, I didn't have to rebuy anything. However, I lost my -10% discount and the Most Wanted BMW M3 E46 that came with the Deluxe Edition completely.

I'm going to finish Eddie's challenges and collectibles (for the sake of completion) and be done with it. Maybe if the next update is worthwhile, I'll come back to it. This game does it best not letting the player enjoy what it has to offer. More trouble than it's worth, frankly. It was fun while it lasted though.

I love how when you're taking corners at high speed during a race, the game thinks it knows more, so it tries to correct you. Then you end up going straight into a wall at 120mph. And I swear I've seen the civilian cars speed up when I get closer to them just to make sure I hit them.

I find this game a bit too easy.
I just got Platinum 1 week and 58 minutes of playtime or 12 hours of actual game play time. Hmm.

Relatively unspectacular customization, I mean the only really fun thing for me is the livery editor.

Also the game is a tad too easy, I've only ever really used my starting BRZ and I've had no real issues with races.

Fully upgraded, the BRZ produces 992 HP. The game is pretty much designed so that you can beat the game with any car.

Yeah but my car has had 450bhp for so long, and it still beat Nakai-San's 911 by a country mile, and I really shouldn't be 30 seconds faster than a target time in it either.

Been getting a whole lot more disconnects the past few days, but that's probably down to my internet as it happens on Just Cause 3 as well.

Already completed Build, am about 80% through Outlaw, 60% for Style & Crew and about 50% for Speed. Currently at Rep level 41 and have an R34 GT-R, Rocket Bunny 86 (Both with around 900HP) and Nakai-San's RWB (Which I never use as you can't tune it at all) in my garage.

Also, I've found an almost guaranteed spot for pursuits. If you fast travel to the Gymkhana event at the northern end of the Docks you'll be right next to the police station where there are usually 2 Charger cop cars sitting.

And one thing I just don't get is why the S15 Silvia has no bumper options at all.

The S15 doesn't seem to have as much body kit options as it's predecessors from what I've noticed. I'm guessing this is why there's only the few widebody kits in the game.

Can't seem to find any good racers or drifters to challenge so I'm on here posting a challenge to anyone who thinks that they can hang my gametag is cubalibre38 on xbox one I only have the standard edition and no DLC's

So I was doing the Maniac or Master race, and on the last lap, a racer that wasn't even part of the race pushes me into the road divider, causing me to "total" and lose my chance at 1st, finishing at 4th.

I also loathe the time trials in this game. It's like somehow Amy installed a Veyron engine and Red Bull aerodynamics on her 180SX in these races. :grumpy:

For real! I haven't got close enough to listen to the engine, but I'm pretty sure Amy's 180SX is running a RB26 with (at least) 4 turbos. :P

One thing I would recommend to Ghost is to make any non-competitor in a race a ghost (very punny) car - I don't know why they thought letting AI cars go over 100mph in the opposite direction during an event was a good idea. :grumpy:

I've just done that on the 4th try. I thought it was still a 250 BHP limit race, so that was always gonna end bad. Still, got 4th!

2nd try I got wiped out by Ken Block! Hoonicorn was crossing a junction and knocked me into a wall.

3rd try, I wrecked on the last lap and got dropped to last, got up to 2nd.

4th try I finally won.

This happened in 1 time trial. Was doing a build event (one of the final ones) and the competitors were Amy's 180SX, Murcielago, Huracan, F40 and an AMG GT. I was in my (at the time) 800HP GT-R R34. Managed to set a 34.9 second lap time, putting me in first, and there was 30 seconds left so I just parked at the side of the road to wait and then suddenly the entire field put 32 second lap times. Aside from that I haven't had any issues with any time trial events.

Also, what are the best events for earning cash? Spent most of my money on building an RB GT86 and doing performance customization to my Evo & S13

A legend's wheels (i think - it's the one where Amy drove Nakai's RWB)

Pays 8k and can be done in a minute and half, maybe even less if your car is fast enough, and the finish line is close to the start line so you can just repeat it as soon you finish it.

Best event is "Watcha Torqing About" time trial, it's 8k and around 30k rep every 1min 15s and it very easy. I've crashed a few times before and still had plenty of time to spare. lxmmy has the fastest time for my friends list at 1:09 while mine is 1:14 in an M2

Best event for grinding in my opinion as well. You may get caught up in some chases as the event is quite concentrated with police.

Even better. Once PSN is back up I'll give it a try.
