Need for Speed Heat Full Car List Revealed

Man what a car list, wish we could get all of these in Gran Turismo. Good amount of Ferrari’s, Porsche’s Nissan’s Ford’s, BMW’s, Lamborghini’s Chevrolet’s. I like it. Would love more Mitsubishi’s though.

Overall, in my humble opinion...too many exotics, not enough classic muscles, not enough 80s and 90s tuners or family cars and barely any proper offroaders (although, considering the setting, kind of makes sense). No sign of anything like Fiestas, Escort Cossy, or even Vauxhall. No sign of other prominent tuner cars with that Toyota license remaining firmly in GT:S grip. Surprised to not see more throwback cars like from Hyundai like the Coupe. Anyway yada yada opinions, some excellent cars here, I just wish they would play a little less safe with what they've chosen. However having said all that my next point may hype me more.

Biggest thing for me is the new "exhaust sound" customisation option, which will go a long way in finally making cars sound as they should when upgraded, maybe even "preset" suggestions if you want to mimic a Milltek or a Scorpion, a Magnaflow or a Roush etc. A really big, really fun, exceptionally long awaited feature! I hope Forza steals, i mean, implements a similar system going forward. I hope it's good...this will go a long way hopefully in making this car list, plus any potential DLC cars, WELL worth the attention and may even make me try cars I normally wouldn't, purely based on the idea of modifying how it sounds. That's a HUGE deal for me, as a sound nut, I simply won't play or use a car if it sounds crap.

Looks okay I guess, I'll get the game because there is literally no driving games apart from Horizon 4 and the crew 2 both of which are at the end of their life cycles, but unless the physics are improved over the last one I'll probably play for a day.

The real question is, will the E46 GTR have the proper racecar interior and V8 + straight-cut gear sounds? In all other recent NFS games it's really just been a body kit on a normal straight-6 M3.

McLaren (5)
  • 2018 McLaren 570S Spider
  • 2018 McLaren 600LT
  • 2015 McLaren 570S
  • 2015 McLaren P1
  • 2015 McLaren P1 GTR
:D:bowdown::)

Think i'll be checking this game out now :)

I thought this game was worth preordering when I saw the exhaust sound tuning option...

But after seeing they put the 🤬 blasphemy on wheels in the game, namely the 2017 Ford GT, and did not include the 2005 Ford GT, I've suddenly changed my mind.

A legend is left in the dust while its less-endowed offspring rises in popularity. This truly saddens me.

Gimme my 🤬 V8 back, and why is there no LFA?!? Or ANY Lexus whatsoever?

I noticed that Eddie’s Skyline will be in the game but not the base R34. I’m hoping I will be able to customise the R34 to my own style. Skylines and Nissan GT-Rs are my favourite cars that I really wanna stylise myself!

How many of these are even new? 10 or less?

By my count, we have 10 compeltey new models, in the 2020 Z4, BMW I8, 488, FXX-K, Testarossa (squee), Countach, Evo X, Polestar 1, 600 LT, and 718 Cayman (yes, I consider those last 2 fundamentally different cars). If we include variants (besides convertibles), updated models, trim levels, etc., we have at least 29 cars by my count, including the brand new vehicles.

I do feel like some more run-of-the-mill tuners could've been added, such as the FC RX7, S14, late 90's Eclipse, etc. would be welcome, but overall I'm pretty happy with this list. I just hope the Ferraris have more robust customization available to them, though the 488 GTB in the gameplay trailer doesn't give me much hope.

Also, @Coolsy101 , the standard R34 is in, but it's listed as the '99 V-Spec, not the 2002.

Go ask Toyota

Talk about an overreaction, jesus

Oh, thanks for clarifying that for me! I got confused with that. I can’t wait for this game to drop! It’s gonna be so much fun to play with and customise all these different cars

Basically Payback and 2015's list with a good number of additions. Looking forward to the testarosa and countach, but like others have said a few more muscle and work-a-day classics like a couple of elder corvettes (C1 - C4), 80's Camaro and the fabled escorts would be nice. Saying that what we've got is still excellent.

The Toyota Exclusive deal with PD is cancer, Exclusive deals should be left in the past.

The exclusivity derives from toyota getting their undies in a twist about boy racing and toyotas want of a more precious, high handed image. GT is seen as the more sedate and sensible driving game while nfs is taken to be rebelious and wreckless, not what toyota wants to promote. It's a very strange turn tbh as for long enough they were happy to be seen as part of the youth, underground scene with the supra being a rival to the skyline. Toyota now want to get down with the woke soy boys (and girls) with their prius'. They are effectively grand fathering the Supra into a more to-do cruiser than the sports gt it once was imo.

@mustafur They've allowed some of their cars into Forza 7 although most are nascars and off roaders

No Toyota ,but that's hardly suprising, driving the Z4 won't quite be the same, but all in all I'm looking forward to it. :)

Wasn't Honda in a similar mindset once? AFAIK that's why they were absent from NFS for a while, like the UG games, MW2005, and Carbon. Wasn't NFS Prostreet where Honda made its first appearance in the series in over a decade?

Engine swaps are a thing so you might get your v8, and maybe tune the exhaust to sound like the ‘05

Honestly as much as I love having all the Toyotas in GT Sport, it's a major shame to not have them in NFS. For all the controversy about the new Supra, Toyota would do well to have the next generation of car fans growing up playing NFS games with their new flagship sports car in it. After all, that's how an awful lot of current MK4 Supra fans came to be; Getting attached to the car in games like NFS! And in general, it's hard for me to decide if it's worth getting this game without my favorite car make present.

The Civic was literally one of the starter cars in Underground. And then there was a S2000. One of the major characters in Underground drove a Civic and one of plot turning points involved her Civic :odd:
