We might have gone over this already but how's the frame rate on the PS3?

I have the 360 version installed on my HD and it slows down at times. I'm thinking about getting
The PS3 version on Black Friday so I can play online.

The digital copy runs like a dream but it seems the disc one is a little unstable. So download from the PS Store.

That wasn't a problem for me because I reached level 71 (Concours) in less than 2 days thanks to the SP bug :sly: and I already got the Lamborghini Gallardo, Aventador, Agera R with all pro mods and paints unlocked. My only issue with the concours is that somehow the stability of the game gets worse on multiplayer, for example if you join the last event on a playlist get ready for a freeze at the end of the playlist.

So Xbox isn't the only one with the problem... Here's a temp fix I found. Open up your guide when it's showing results and dont come out till the rewards menu pops up.

Goddamit. Can't play an entire session without getting disconnected this evening. It's occuring every session now. It was just fine yesterday. Aargh.

Edit : I think it's time to brutally rape randoms with the Bugatti. Louzy twits, here I come.

Can anyone advise me as to whether it's worth getting?

As far as I can tell, there's less actual visual customisation, more tinkering to do with stats represented on bars. The handling is like HP3 (not to my taste, much prefered the old NFS MW handling, or the clean crisp feel of GT5), and it's a cross between Burnout Paradise and the old MW.

Not particularly promising? I mean Paradise worked, but only since it was Burnout, and this clearly isn't. I found HP3 frustratingly repetitive and boring to play, so is this much the same?

Just play the demo first.

Also, Hyland, if you're going to beat on others to feel good about yourself, don't use a car that can accomplish that so easily.... use a car no one expect. It's more rewarding if you think about it from their point of view. ;)

No, guy. Using the known strongest or fastest car doesn't make you special... when you drive the faster cars, you're expected to win. Likewise, with the stronger cars, you're expected to not be taken out. Get with the program. :p

Use the XKR. :dopey:

Exactly!

I still use the A1 Clubsport to do all this; It's not a road king, nor derby material. It's not special for anything and it ain't the prettiest car in the game. That's troll material.... A Tesla would be a good takedown troll vehicle too.

I trashed the hell out of them. I'm happy again, with a new personal record of 66 takedowns and 76 wrecks all in all.

:D

Otherwise, I really can't stand the Veyron in multiplayer. I usually stick with my beloved SLS AMG for sheer convenience. I'm however considering a secondary weapon of choice. Any suggestions?

Oh, and nice playing with you MarcoM! Sorry for my killing spree.

When I was doing the races for the Tesla Down With The Sickness was playing as I crawled pass the competition. I laughed so hard.

No problem, I am used to that happening. I tried joining your game earlier last night, but it was full. So I joined a random game, and got firts!

I don't have the pro mods or whatever that is, but I still enjoy the game. It is really freaking good.

Ultimate Troll vehicle: Caterham R500 Superlight. Learn how to stalk your pray when there doubling back. Hilarity will ensue. or use the Focus RS500 and leave it in the Green paint. Give it reinforced and it's a small tank.

I just found this on NFS Twitter. :yuck:

@javierthebaus The H1 was indeed planned for the HD title, but was ultimately removed. It is still featured in the mobile version.

I now completed all the races in every car. Wish they had a bit more to do. :( But I still haven't really touched online much so I guess I'll play that some more.

Hey, got this game a week ago, now I'm pretty much done with it. 100% offline career, pretty much all collectables (for the completition I'll probably have to use a map though...), level 50ish. Now it's time for me to start on my main subject while playing - cruising. :) With everything unlocked and done it's really satisfiying. Becomes boring after about half an hour though. Still more exciting than GT5... :p
Anyway, seen the Fiesta ST online two times now, and I was wondering how to unlock this 'secret' vehicle? A friend told me to do a speedlist only using Fords. I did that, once with a friend in a private room, once in an open lobby, always using the Ford GT without switching the car at all from the first meet up to the last race finish screen. But I didn't get a Fiesta. What am I doing wrong? Couldn't find an answer with Google either. :(

Oh, and is there a way to unlock the normal Dodge Charger SRT-8? Because there's a screenshot of it painted white on one of the loading screen photos, but it never appeared in-game so far for me, only the police version.

There's no Fiesta in the game. You are thinking of the Focus ST. If you page thru your Driver Details it tells you that winning a couple Speedlist events in any Ford, so come in first place, unlocks it.

Now the Charger SRT8 is a Slim Jim promotion. Buy a Slim Jim product, eat it & get the code off it. That is if you're in America.

Damn it, I did some serious ****. I changed my controller layout to Accelerate R3 up, Brake R3 Down, Nitrous R2 and now I can't go back to default controlls without removing all my progress.

That doesn't make any sense.... can you expand on that instead of just reporting a discovery you didn't investigate?
