I've recently sampled the first two MC's. boy, do they suck. the first is positively primitive looking (and crashed my mem card!), the second is just not my taste. I hope Rockstar improved their graphics appearance over the years.

LA was amazing. It´s as mentioned challenging like few arcade racers I ever run. I mean I struggled even on medium races. Not until I unlocked the fastest car it got a bit easier since AI always ran lambos even when you where in crap cars . But it wouldn´t be as good without it. If there is no challenge you tire sooner and you don´t feel the same level of accomplishment.
But well I got it when it was new but thought after some hours racing this was hard and started running other games. I am oh so happy I went back at it though.
