Didn't we already confirmed this Aventador thing so many pages ago?

PS SLS AMG BS is racer. Also ESF seems to give your car extra Strength,so like instant takedown but without the op'ness/easiness.

Wicken - You're right...
This is COP Aventador :

I think Aventador LP-720 50th as a Racer. But at E3 was too early for show it.
There is no chance that the Aventador available to racers is the LP 720-50th, neither the cop version of it. Where's why:

Both look like the same model to me.

I wonder what (or who) "Zephyr" is ?
According to their press release, Zephyr is their mysterious Racer.

conversely :P

Wicken.... oh god. I say "But at E3 was too early for show it.". I think at E3 NFS Rivals was pre-alpha.
Then let's go backwards a few weeks, does this recent picture of the Lamborghini Aventador (Racer) look like the LP 720-4 model to you?

"Yo let's put the Aventador LP 700-4 as a placeholder at E3 and later on we will swap it for the LP720-4." - Things don't work like that you know.

"Yo postawmy Aventador LP 700-4 jako miejsce na targach E3, a później będziemy zamieniać go na LP720-4."

I think so ;) This screen can come from at E3 but was revealed later. Or haven't modeled Aventador 720 yet. Everything will turn out on release. I wager that I have right. =D

Handling / Driving Experience
The developer team consists partly of veterans of the NFS series, like Craig Sullivan, who already worked on the relaunches of Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted. However, the handling doesn't feel like the Criterion produced games, it reminds me more like "The Run". The fastest way to take a curve is driving the racing line. You still can drift, but you have to keep an eye on your entry speed as well as the angle, which is in contrast to Hot Pursuit, where you went more straight ahead.

happy to hear this. I was undecided to get rivals because of it having maybe having Criterion's drifting handling. plus i'm happy to hear the ps4 will be released on 11/19/13 according to ea origin.com same day as ps3

Would be correct. The rear of the 50th Anni. model features a very aggressive diffuser & full ventilated grille.

Possible that the racer is just a placeholder? It do seem like a last minute add on.
Enough with the placeholder excuse. I am not a game developer so I can't really confirm this but I'm pretty sure that when the development starts they need to have the car list already planned. It doesn't make sense to have that car in the loading screens if sometime later it's going to be replaced by another.

I was wondering what kind of car. I thought about Lambo. Good job :P

-----------EDIT------------
Some Lamborghini Gallardo as a COP.

It's a Sesto Elemento. It's got those small, round headlights.

Edit: it's an Aventador. Quite a difference image quality can make.

I know who is the "Zephyr".

" Every career is different not only a way to play, but the plot, the available vehicles and technology. Take on the role of a mysterious driver nicknamed Zephyr and become the darling of the crowds. "

This is a description of Polish "progression trailer".

Sony did confirm it's a launch title. So nov 15th is right. Tell your gamestop to look it up again.

if you guys are right then i'm happy. I did tell GameStop wed they said 15th nov today they have 1/1/14 even ea has it coming out on the 19th nov. I read somewhere that nfs rivals was being developed on ps4 ported to ps3 not Shure how true that is.

Most likely Rivals was developed on the PC, Frostbite 3 is optimized for Windows DX 11.1. The ports trickle down from there.
The chameleon engine that powered hot pursuit and most wanted was developed by Criterion. Criterion is more of a console developer rather than a PC, hence the reported issues with most wanted running on a PC.
