Need for Speed: Rivals

Lol, I'm throwin in the towel on this one. The stupidity of your reasoning is well beyond my ability to try & comprehend.

All you can basically counter with is "thats your opinion" when its not an opinon that sales dont equate quality. When you can come up with a better counter argument that's not a broken record now, then you can have a debate with me. Until then, my logic is correct. The fact others are only echoing it further & nobody agreeing with you seems to prove my point even more.

Good luck with that lol. I thought I would try and push you and see how far you could go. Now maybe you won't come back to post on the NFS board with your sarcastic, "I think I'm better than everyone else so I can insult people" attitude and with people with such bad logic like me. Doing that is just a way to make your weak argument sound stronger. No real need for it. Now piss off.

one last thing before I quote Euripides and am out of this conversation.

The idea that something that sells the most, or is the biggest, or most numerous is then defacto "the best" is shoddy logic. It can give some indication of worth, but nothing more. Certainly not "factual". Even a cursory glance into the world of philosophy will show you this. It's a bad argument. Plato/Socrates "solved" this problem almost 2000 years ago. It's funny to see kids still bringing it up today... in the year 2013. Go do some reading. You can find nearly all the Ancients texts online for free or in a library if you're so inclined.

anyway

Talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish ~Euripides.

If the mods would step in, delete the crap, & slap "STOP IT" on a post then this wouldn't of went on so long. I know at least one views this topic.

Well, they either didn't take notice, or no one reported these posts. I don't know which ones need to be reported as I skipped most of the page-long arguments.

So anyway, I'd love to see cars like the BAC Mono come back again for Rivals. I wonder how many cars will show up for this game?

Lol, there was no attempt to push me at all; everything you posted was your legitimate thoughts. Now you're trying to run back on them by playing the "lol jk" card. Who's got the weaker argument again?
Now piss off.
Aww.

U mad? Yeah, you mad.

So any guess what the shockwave will be? I'm thinking an emp like device but with like a bbust range of effect.

Also,:

Racers- Aston Martin Vanquish
Porsche GT3 RS
Ferrari F12berlinetta

Cops- Koeinseggseggeseggg Agera R
Lamborghini Aventador(C'mon you know it will be,AWD aggresive looking exotic,Paralell to the Huayra)

@RDash- Actually the nos thing is sorta off. You get more NOS for being last and those slow cars tend to be last... Not saying Nos wasn't effective on those cars but, if the gap was easy to close then more variety would be had. Cars like my Ford GT wouldnt get no attention.

Oh and (insert Fluttershy like response here)

In HP3 you got faster nitrous recharge the further from 1st you were. If all racers were in a bunch everyone's nitrous would be normal. Anyway the weak nitrous cars still wouldn't benefit from it much but the strong nitrous cars would get a serious boost.

Sounds like rubberbanding if you ask me. But I guess it would make races more fair so the leader won't have ridiculous gap from everyone else.

It still didn't help. If the people suck so bad that they are a minute behind that extra nitrous won't help.

Aston Martin Vanquish vs. Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series for the Grand Final. Voting begins on June 4.

I think the SLS Black might take it. I'd also be happy if the Vanquish took victory.

EA's idea for Facebook voting is cute, however just like the NHL cover vote, EA will just twist the votes into what they want ultimately.

"Rivals will support full campaigns for both Cops and Racers, so players will have the ability to see both sides of the law. There will be a wager system allowing players to bet speed points earned through racing, which results in either a big payday or someone going home a little less endowed. More than 100 miles of road can be raced on, and during your travels dynamic whether effects such as snow, hail, fog, and dust storms will have global impacts. Lobbies have been eliminated, so really, think of Rivals as one big, connected world where your friends can just hop in to your game and start wrecking havoc. Much of the destruction will be cause by the tools found in the game, which include jammers, electromagnetic pulses, shockwaves, roadblocks, and helicopter patrols.

Need for Speed Rivals will make use of both the PS4’s video sharing features and the Xbox One’s Kinect."

Word.

Just to post this, EA is going to be showing some stuff on Monday, at 1pm PDT. online and on spike TV.

First question: Where is this 'Red View County' based? Looking at the weather possibilities, and guessing there will be an obligatory route through the mountains, I'd say somewhere in the rockies. Anyone else have a guess?

I just hope it's nothing that we haven't seen already. I want to see actual gameplay not a trailer or something like that.

Yeah, I think they showed gameplay for early versions of Hot Pursuit (2010), The Run (2011) and Most Wanted (2012) at E3. I don't think they'll break the cycle. Also, wouldn't want to disappoint the hyped-up fans!

Those "hyped-up" fans are obviously not the die-hards who have been screaming for Underground 3. I'm not hyped-up but I'm casually interested in what Rivals brings to the table at E3.
