Well that particular overpass isn't all that wide; angled rain could easily get under there. But yes, that would be true.

I change my prediction of the next car from the '05 GTO to the '06 Camaro Concept; I finally found its torque spec and it matches up perfectly, unlike the GTO's 395 ft/lbs.

Does anyone ever ship a complete game anymore? These are all on the PS store from release... DLC is such a con, all of this could have been in the game but they basically want double profit for each game sold.

Well at least there is a PC version. ;)
But seriously, that sounds ridiculous. Thank goodness they can't charge you any more for the PSP and PS2 version. :D
(forgot that the PSP now supports PS store)

Robin, it more than likely already is. That crap is just available to buy for people who are too lazy to complete the game. I beat Carbon before I found out about that crap, so I already had all of that unlocked.

I wouldn't be surprised if EA tried that crap. I told you all they'd do it a long time ago. It was just a matter of time.

It's still a bit of a con though isn't it, I bet the majority of the people that do buy them don't realise that they are just unlocks and not additional content. I think the collectors edition upgrade is the only upgrade that actually gives you more content, but EA are sheisters for this type of thing. They always hold content back for a collectors edition that costs more. This is the problem with DLC and I've always said it would be and was, it's great in thoery but the developers abuse it though overcharging, holding content back, selling missleading items etc.

Saw Undercover whilst I was at MPH08, as they had a EA Hub stand where people could have a go at it. Put it this way, it didn't look impressive.

The sad thing in all this is if it's another Pro Street, people will still buy it and EA will make another one next year.

 Oh yeah, I can see the discussion...

"Ok people we got the engine from Carbon and we made 2 more cars that are DLC, but in the game. Good job but... now we gotta push. Push people."

Yeah they take two years to develop each game these days, the enxt one as bee in development for a year now. They have handed the series to two teams that will stagger thier games yearly.

Damnit, wished a Ford Crown Victoria made it in to be the generic police car.....I mean it was in NFS HP 2!!!

There are some serious issues with that car list. First of all, why is the Focus ST and Escort Cossie in with the Americans? It should be under the Euros.

The Viper should be moved upto Tier 1, me thinks.
The R8 in Tier 1 should be moved back to Tier 2.
The McLaren 722, GT3 RS, GT2 and Gallardo LP560 should maybe be moved to Tier 1?
RS4, both M3s, S5, CLS63 should be moved to Tier 3.
Megane and TT should be moved back to Tier 4.
Elise should be moved upto Tier 3, maybe with the TT still left there.
Golf R32 also should be moved up.
Evo X and Skyline GTR should be moved up one.

No infact, I could rant on for days about this rubbish.

Relax, its just typical of EA man. Everthing they do is screwed up at the worst possible moment. :P Seriously, if that lists makes it into the PS2/PSP version I should be happy enough to play it. :D

Is there still no news on PSN Trophies for this? :grumpy:

Seems like not that many cars... im sure Prologue has more cars than this and its half the price!

Hmm... will have to wait for the reviews. You just don't get it EA... make a HP2 remake, like totally indentical with the same tracks just make it next gen! Better yet add all the tracks from NFS1 because they have the best point to point routes of the entire series.

Robin

I heard there aren't going to be any Trophies, but I'll see if I can find an article for confirmation. I'm most surprised there isn't an Impreza.

Cars of the day, if anyone cares:

I'm totally looking forward to buying this, but the only problem I see is the tiers so far... MW was awesome for the fact that every car could be insane with all hop-ups.

(Yay, Camaro :) , and physics are looking good too).

edit: I still think: Open world > closed track, and there appears to be 54 cars, which is a nice sum.

I'm not even going to consider buying this until I have proof that other's have enjoyed it and have liked it. And I'm not really liking the way EA is going anyway.

Btw, does anyone know why so many guests view this thread? 119 are on right now.

It is problemly because people google 'NFS Undercover car list' And this is one of the first things that come up.

EDIT it's a 114 now.

Someone took the 'confirmed' list and posted it on GameFAQs' Answers for the PS2 game, which we know isn't completely accurate thanks to Reventon posting the PS2/PSP box arts, so I had to add a note to the list's title here. Hopefully anyone who Googles the list again will notice it.

*EDIT* - it completely slipped my mind, but the 4G Eclipse is another exclusive to the 'lesser' versions of the game.

Speed Hunters? oh no... even more in game advertising.

Center exhaust on a Camaro? uh... no.
Uh..... yo do realize that Speedhunters are a part of the NFS staff.

From speedhunters.com
Speedhunters is a car culture blog site from the creators of the Need for Speed video game team. We've hooked up with our favorite automotive writers
Yeah, but hasn't there been tons of in game advertisement over the years? But apparently EA took it a step too far....... 👎 Also agree that the autosculpt is getting boring now.....

I like in-game advertising. Gives it more realism.

Car of the day: 2003 BMW M3 (E46) "Most Wanted"
