Huh... It's okay. Weak vehicles. Nice to see a 206 in there though! :D

Handling isn't as bad as I thought it would be.

OMG I JUST WON A LANCER ES!!! YEAH! Sheesh... Almost too "My Civic with decals is fast." sort of mentality to the game.

Update:

It was fun, and a little challenging. The need for wanting more and more was there, but the whole time, I was just going, "Mneh." When I went back to the OLR, I found my steering was way off, and... well... NFS: Underground will pay for my weekly midnight bowling with friends.
 
Pretty fun game here..... Okay so has anyone else been able to play on line? Just tells me i have an unknown error occurred. My other online games work just fine.....
 
here in england i have to wait til friday. ive a little wait, but look on the bright side. i buy need for speed underground on friday and get to play it at the weekend with out going to school. wicked!!!!!!
 
REALLy recommended.. when you get yourself ranked in the titled, the harder your opponent will be.. damn much difficult than MC2
 
I love this game already, and it works great online. It isn't choppy, and your opponents cars move, as if they were playing 2 player mode with you (very smooth) The only thing I don't like is that when you are playing the underground mode, you are only allowed to own one car, but at least when you buy a new car, all of your mods are transfered to that car, so you don't have to buy all of those parts again.
 
Yes the graphics are very nice, but the thing you will notice the most about the game, is the sense of speed. It seems as if you are going extremely fast. I just love that.
 
I've got a question for others that have this game. Have any of you blown an engine during a drag race? I'm just asking because after I won one of my drag races, I notice that it said that one of my competitors lost because of a blown engine, and I just wanted to know how you can blow your engine during a race.
 
Yea, today. It happens when you hit the nitrous in like 2nd or 3rd and you hit the rev limiter and don't shift. You'll know when its blown. I love the sense of speed in the drag races. :D
 
Now who wants to start a NFS Underground community with me? I could be the webmaster, I'm good at webdesigning... anyone good at forums and stuff?
 
Is the handling better in the actual game than on the PS2 demo. If it is im DEFINATELY getting the game:) If its the same as the demo, im gunna get it anyway.

Its just like Auto Modellista, i knew the racing was crap but i still bought it cos it still gives you hours of fun modding up your cars.
 
yes you can save your modded cars.you go into the main menu and pick customize car and it lets u use everything u have unlocked in the underground mode to mod the car.you can save a lot of them too, i have a lancer, rx-7, eclipse and neon, you cant use them in teh underground mode though.
btw, for anyone else with this game, how many goals have u completed out of the 111 and what car are u using.i am currently using the miata with mostly level 1 but level 2 turbo.
 
anyone want to make an online race team? Like Team GTP? and btw what kinda car is everyone using? i have a Neon with stage 2 performance, killer body kit, special 17" rims, decals, vinal, cf hood and all the damn goodies...it wastes all the civics, evos, rx-7s, eclipse's, and the list goes on. but anyway back to the subject....I think I am going to make a Team GTP on NFSU. If you want to join up send me a PM and we can plan races, drags, and such.

so use your boost a lil earlier. my neon was blowing up because i would hit it after i shifted to 5th. so i started hitting it about a grand before i shifted in to 5th and it would run boost right up to the finish.

Well, you can turn the traction control off, and that seems to make it more realistic. If you are into drifting, then this is the way to go. The only thing I didn't like is the FF cars don't act that much different in the drift comp, then the FR or AWD cars. The AWD and FR are easier to drift with, but the way you control the car in the drift doesn't change too much from FR to FF. I love the game btw, I love how much modifications are available. I'll give it a 4 out of 5. ;)

I dont know how many goals i've completed, but Im using a 240sx right now with level 1 visual upgrades, level 2 wheels, and all level 1 engine except a level 2 intake/exhaust. Btw I started off with the dodge neon.
 
Man found out what was wrong with me connecting to the EA server.... my screen name was not the name i had entered... some how it got messed up.. but its works now. Anyone up for a game later tonight?

Sure, if I have time later tonight maybe around 8ish or so. it's about 20 til 6 now. Havent played online yet, anything special I have to do first? (I know enter sn and etc. from the PC Demo but anything else?)
