See my sig...
The first time I used the G4 with some engine/suspension/tire mods. Bspec seemed to like it. I tried it again and Bspec driver was on crack. Couldn't keep it on the track! I quit that event.

The third time I tried a stock E-Type with semi-sticky tires. On Nurburgring, the tires got crapped out about 50 feet out of PIT-IN. So Bspec went flying down the track like a top.

Reason for having to try again AFTER I'd won once? I TURNED THE GAME OFF WITHOUT SAVING MY PROGRESS!! No autosave. Poop.

The 1000 miles is the only race/series I'm doing in b-spec mode. (I'll be doing the 24 hour races in both a-spec and b-spec, like being a co-driver of a team, but that's a different story.) I chose my AC Cobra for the task.

I love my Cobra, and I love the Nurburgring, but I hate the combination. Not to mention nearly 100 laps of Paris Opera, a circuit I can't stand. No thanks.

Let the b-spec do it.

i used the etype jag.

prize car is some 60's alfa, not nearly enough compensation for that long of a race.
Yeah, I was kind of disappointed, but I got a lot of money for the races.

Disappointed?!?!

That car is awsome. It may not have 1000Hp, but it still looks great and handles very well. I am very happy with my prize car, and will be driving it often.

No respect for classic European automobiles. I suppose you'll be knocking the 2002 turbo or the Jag E-type next.

...Savages in this country.

Putting the 2002 up there with the E-Type? Pulleezzze. :)

The Jag has to be the best looking car in the game. It only needs lowering.

Too bad the '69 GT40 can't be used on the 1000k race. I just won it and too it for a few laps at LeMans- sans chicanes. May be the best stock old car in the game.

I ditched the chevelle idea... used the skyline HT 2000 GT '70. Some brakes, and some tune ups do nicely! Not done yet, but this car gets a lead and just keeps goin!
*anyone know about saving during a championship (NOT during pitstop. I mean between races) to return to after next game boot up?

What's wrong with a 2002? I used to own one (a 70 non-turbo w/ round tail lights) and they're absolutely beautiful. and they handle extremely well, even stock. Besides, I wasn't even comparing the two. I'm not saying that the 2002 is more beautiful that the Jag. It is what it is... One awsome Piece of driving Machine.

I was merely stating that the lack of respect for euro-classics in the US is appaulling. "If it doesn't say ford, chevy or dodge with 1000Hp, it's crap" seems to be the mentality.

Just click the green up arrow, and it'll ask if you want to save.

Try it on one of the "lesser" championships first, of course... but I've had it work.

you can also click on the last icon over to the right that exits you out of the championship. It brings you to the main map where you can go to home and save.:)

No I was disappointed because after doing all of that crap, I got that car. It's alright, but I was expecting a little more. I would of been disappointed as well if it was a Ford or Chevy or Dodge the same if it wasn't as fast too.

Cobra, point taken.

I was in a crappy mood when I wrote that. sorry. I just personally think its a pretty good prize along with 900,000Cr

Used the Jag with no mods but race exhaust only.Won with no problems.Great car.

I'm currently doing this race with the '67 Toyota 2000GT w/weight, susp, tranny mods. I find it very hard to find a competitive field where I can get good A-Spec points. Right now, my only competition is the Jag E-type. Sure the AC/Shelby Cobra shows up every now and then ,but is complemented with piss-poor autos. I only wish there were more competitive cars. I hate racing against the Fiat 500, Mini Marcos, Honda s800.

I have yet to see any Toyota 2000GTs in this race. I've entered this race about 20 times trying to find a good race. Haven't found one yet. 👎

Yes, the Jaguar E-Type can win pretty effortless. However on Nürburgring Nordschleife it revs into redline and after the super high speed section it hits the road surface. Wow!
B-Spec won it with no mods.

Yeah Ginnetta G4 walks it. Great fun round the 'ring with the rear trying to over take the frount on just about every fast corner - and theres a few on that damn track. Infact so far thats my favorite car/track combo. Although as has been mentioned before do NOT use the B-spec. I used it for the last race at Le Mans - built up what I thought was a healthy lead - 4 laps on the 2nd place!! and my B-spec diver managed to drop me in 5th place after about 10 laps??!! I had to watch the fool miss every breaking point and plough into every tire wall to belive just how bad it was. "B" must be for Blind i guess
