whats the best car for the 1000 miles championship in european races

I used the Ginetta G4 (you win it in the Lightweight K races). It will be more than enough as long as the AC 427 isn't in the race. Enter the championship and if you see it (looks just like the shelby cobra), re enter and it shouldn't be there. The Ginetta G4 w/stage 2 turbo will dominate every race (at less than 150HP too, impressive). I took the turbo off for more of a challenge. I was very pleased with that car since I didn't have to buy it. Good luck 👍

The Ginetta G4 with small upgares will win easily.
But like said before as long as the AC or Shelby Cobra isn't there.

However, I entered my Mercury Cougar I won from the license tests.
It beat everyone in a heartbeat.

I used the '67 skyline or whatever it is you win in one of the nissan races.

it blew away the field in b spec mode

For people who wish to know what races are in this comp., here's some info.

There are 4 tracks with any car under 1970 allowed.
The championship wins you $300,000 for 1st.
The courses and laps that make up a 1000 miles.

1st race - Nurburgring Nordschleife - 25 laps
2nd race - Opera Paris Normal - 95 laps
3rd race - Cote d' Azur - 99 laps
4th race - Circuit de la Sarthe II - 35 laps

IMO, this series is more of an early Endurance race deal for those who have not unlocked Endurance Hall.

BTW, this series is perfect for finding out what it will be like for those who have not unlocked the Endurance Hall.

Be careful with the tires you choose if you choose the G4. It takes a while for the tires to get warmed up and into the green, after a lap the tires are normally still blue. The G4 is so light it doesn't wear out tires as much, so a softer compound could be used. The G4 handles like its on rails when the tires are warmed up, but on blue tires it can be tricky.

Yeah, the muscle cars are the way to go here, hands down no competition, but for a fun long race try something such as the Giulia Sprint.

I used a '69 Nissan Bluebird 1600 Deluxe, modded, don't remember how much. It was pretty easy, but I B-Speced (Specced, Specked, Spekt???) the Nurburgring race and spilt the rest about 50/50 A,B-Spec. Cobra didn't show, fastest competitor was the E-Type Jag.

Those races are LLLOOONNNGGG in a slow car.

I used that car 2 but all u really need is racing suspension but I just wanted to win so I put a stage 1 turbo. But you just cant beat the 427 AC. I let the B-Spec drive the 1st race (the nur) and got 3rd place wich made me mad.

I am using the Jaguar E-type and it can beat the Cobra easily. All you need is about 350 Hp and good gearing and suspension setup.

I prefer to detune my Hp and re-enter the race until the stupid high powered cars aren't there. Took me like almost 4 hours on the ring. And if you use B-spec mode at all when you pit, you get no A-spec points.

Hey Mojo Rising, you play Tiger Woods ??? check out my T-shirt......

ok, off topic, sorry.....

if your going b-spec DO NOT! use the ginetta, the AI cannot handle it well, i used a supercharged chevelle.. and owned easily (litterally.. owned, i beat them at nurb with 6+ laps easy) cause it boosts up to 600+ hp

great car to use, and handles a LOT better than the ginetta will (not saying i dislike ginetta, i love the ginetta, it just isnt the best car to use in that series)

I did a quick check against the field in a slightly souped-up lotus elan. It seemed to do really well, because it's as much of a "point and shoot" car as I've seen.

The ginetta is too squirrelly sometimes for my preferences (though I have gone and collected them in all 4 colors). Beautiful but squirrelly.

My opinion might well change after having actually *run* one of these races. I'm planning on my first run through a 1k-mile race being this weekend.

I used the '62 Buick Special, "stock". It got the long races over with quickly, which was my goal. The Cobra was there, but it didn't have a prayer against the mighty Buick.

I used my 63' Z06 Corvette with some power mods and i beat the AC 427. It wasn't easy but it's possible. You might even be able to with the Mustang 350R fully modded, but I'm not about to redo those races just to find out.

And as a side comment I was originally going to use my Ginetta G4 with 150 HP and some suspension and drivetrain stuff, but I couldn't keep the damn thing on the road. I use the logitech proforce and the wheel would just vibrate and pull from side to side so voilently on high speed straights that it was too unpleasant. Anyone else experience this problem?

You guys shouldn't be modding these fast cars to their max at all.

Just keep the car stock if its a powerful one.

hrm, If I'm not mistaken, the game wouldn't let me use the buick special because it wasn't a "production car." I did use the special in the classic car race though and it worked well.

Am I wasting my time trying to fix up my chevelle? (it was my roommate's idea...)

I'm upset because the Stratos is three years too late...

I think I may get the Hakosuka and do it with that.

i used my Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-B (S54A) 1967

I made a few additions and got it up to 143BHP and it did well didnt destroy the opposition but when it got clear it kept its lead.
