Was able to sign in but when I went to remote race for B spec I got a connection error and it would boot me to the Main GT 5 Menu. Baby steps I guess.

Ive been able to log in to get to seasonals, but then it logs me out half way through a race. But I can keep logging back in to get access. Something still not right.

Noticed that too, have a GNX now with over 600bhp at 486pp go figure, and a CSL which has gained 20bhp

Time to blame
  • Sony
  • PD
  • Kaz
  • Anonymous
  • the FBI
  • the Templars
  • Lance Armstrong (Coincidence that problems came up whilst his confession? Don`t think so.)
  • and some more...

 Even false hope is almost better than no hope.

Not anymore my friend, not anymore (returning now to watching paint dry, sharpening many hunting knifes *YOU HEAR THAT SONY? MANY MANY KNIFES* and drinking 37 hours-old coffee:grumpy:

Seriously, know what I've been doing? Since oh about 6pm ET Thursday? downloaded a PDF list of cars from here, went completely thru my garage and enumerated all standards (like 1270 of'em after a brief rage of simply selling off extras I'd put no money into and saw no value in- and calm down, I stopped that ignorance after about 800 went bye-bye); I then noted all 0/0/0 cars, how many I could gift here to whomever, how many I would at least want the same "dirty" model back to give it up, put all THAT onto a word program, and listed same on the trading thread lol......I'm ready for the beast now

edit: and so I'm sitting contemplating these threads, my life, my bellybutton, and a small window appears in the corner of the screen: "At&T has discovered a problem with your internet....." blahbittyblabittyblahblah....starts the troubleshooter app I have, and runs it's little tests.....and reports....nothing.....not a dang thing....still here.....from Top Gun: "I WANT SOME BUTTS!"

Only got fresh roasted coffee in this house mate...roast myself, and can drink 'fresh as' whenever I feel like...which is often

Since discovering this site, I have at least ten times gone for "a fresh cuppa" only to realize my stoopid %$##^ coffeemaker has shut itself off (stoopid *&^%$%& timer(*&^%(* ) and that that first cup was the only fresh cup I'm gonna see for a while lol....can't throw the old and cold out, gotta reheat....I'm the only one here that drinks the stuff, and if the wife catches me wasting it, my allowance gets cut :scared:

 Mine got cut when my other half found about 40kg of green beans in the bottom of my cupboard. :D

If only the PS3 had the old style dial up sounds when connecting. Instead we get the messages just pop up. I want "bzzzzzz rrrrrrrrrrr zing zing zing zing..........."

:D And in case anyone is worried about off topic, there's nothing wrong with a coffee chat over coffee while waiting for the network to come back online

Oh contraire, mon ami....I believe we are PERFECTLY on topic as if things were all well and good in Sonyland, we'd be playing and trading and racing and building and what-have-you

I remember those... a strange buzzing sound which was confusing no end when affected somewhat by the effects of alcohol

Sweet!!! One could say, "network down" is not necessarily a locked in topic in it's own right. :D At the moment am combining Hogan's Heroes, coffee, and mahjong solitaire....with some GTPlanet browsing.

I was watching a bit of the Barett-Jackson auction on Speed but wasn't concentrating really.....listening to music now (currently it's Simple Man by Skynyrd) with headphones, drinking coffee, and STILL SHARPENIN' THOSE KNIFES, SONY!!! seeing lots of issues with what I previously assumed were at least reasonably intelligent folks trying to be first on the roller coaster and losing lotsa stuff

One thing I have noticed is that whilst the same issues are still in play (so much for nearly bloody finished), nothing has changed in my kit bag with regards to particular items which there was some concern about.

After signing in, did you get any updates? the last updated a lot of PP type stuff

Hi,
Thanks
I don't think so. There was nothing to install, is it normal for an update? Or was it *really* just maintenance?
I'm sure the Weider Honda had 40 kgfm of tourque, now it has 48.3 (or 47 !) in my garage. I have not changed it. By the way the Takata NSX has 61.5 kgfm of torque so it should be miles quicker out of the turns shouldn't it? Raybrig has 64.3. torque......Is this dependent on spec? Aero etc ???
My yello hat Supra has 597 bhp, 1090 kgs and 61.3 torque.....it's all very confusing! :)

Alf, that question was in regards to changing vehicular performance values, which the last update several days ago caused....I didn't know if the poster I was responding to had been online since the last update, hence the question

EDIT: After looking at the PSN US website, they're just as lost as we are, some can, some can't, some are getting screwed, and the only "professional"-looking info is already out of date

Well i finally got to sign in to the playstation store for the first time but in GT5 i try to set up my profile just says lost connection ..

PD are full of it. Currently showing as news item (only just been posted) when you sign in and enter game "GT5 online interruption" we are currently experiencing an interruption to online services bs bs bs bs.

They aren't!! I am able to still do the seasonals, receive and send messages through PSN, buy in the OCD, everything else OTHER than see what cars my friends have on share or send and receive trade items. To me a service interruption means EVERYTHING is down. This is VERY selective. And they are not being honest about what is going on.
