Suzuka 650pp against GT LM Spec II is a blast. One of the best races I have had in GT5 in a long while. Ran him down in the Oreca Viper and passed on the last chicane of the last lap.

I was foolish for thinking it was remotely possible for me to beat the McLaren with the Lexus IS F RM with RH tires.

Swapped to the Camaro SS RM with RH and am going to chase him down. Less than 2 seconds behind him overall, will beat him tomorrow.

Both cars were tuned upwards to 650 PP without the power limiter, but a staggering difference of performance between both.

Been there and done that with all of them and lower pp and crappy tyres. I'm just sick of the limits not being changed.

If they offered 350, 450 and 600pp races then I could try them with 300, 400 and 525pp...

What really tees me off is that the aftermarket tunes, such as Amuse, are considered race cars or "not normal" cars and thus can't be used in the 500pp events. What is the purpose of that restriction? Really limits the good choices there.

400pp Tried my favorite, the Delta Hf but couldn't get the prelude on sports hard. Easy job on the same tires with the 86GT winning by 4 seconds. (Surely more of a challenge with comfort tires)
500pp Elise 111r on Sports hard won by 6 second over the Series one 03'
650pp Tried the Zonda Lm on RH but the BMW was there. Switched to the Stealth GT-R on RI and the McLaren is no show, now it is too easy all of a sudden...will run it again tomorrow on harder tires

650PP beaten with the Camaro SS RM '10 on RH tires. Quite a few restarts and 2nd places but I think I'm a little better at Suzuka now!

I tried the 650pp Suzuka event with, wait for it...a nicely tuned lotus Elise 190. Finished 6th, but was the best fun I've had in a seasonal in ages. Try it!

650 Suzuka - Used a Pescarolo Hybride - thinking it would be useful as a test for LeMans24... (But I won't be peddaling a restricted LMP car there... doh!) However it was good fun open cockpit nice track, Engine not has a few issues that will be annoying after less than 24 minutes of a 24 hours race.

500 - IndyRoad course Used a Lotus Espit - And the car was sideways all over the show, too much car for the grid, But Indy has a fe wncie bits, erm... the curbstones are interesting - but otherwise it is like running a race in a "minimum security prison"

400 GVE - Top banana - the melted coke bottle is such a fun blast. I think I used a... Toyota Celica GTFour from '91 (Pop up headlamps!) - That was a very tough ask (Comfort Softs) but fun after a few repeats. Bog standard Lancia Stratos untuned will do it too, that was fun but in a sideways try not to stick the car in a wall kind of way.

What car are people using for 650pp?

I'm trying to use RH tires like the other cars and beat that BMW, but can't seem to do it... even when I'm using that car also!

I'm beginning to wonder if it's possible.

If you've been able to beat the BMW using a car with RH tires, let me know what it was (and please share your tune)
