New Acura NSX in GT5?

I dont think so, at least not anytime soon. I just read a mag article saying the Acura NSX will not be ready for production until 2014-2015 so if PD does add it to GT5 it will be a concept car at which it stands now. It also does not have an interior designed (another reason why I dont see it in GT5 anytime soon) so PD would have to design one which wont happen. Oh and the car will not be made in Japan and imported to the US. It will be designed in Ohio and produced in the US and imported to others countries unlike the last NSX. So before I ramble off subject these are just some reasons why I dont see the new Acura NSX in GT5 anytime soon. Cause all you see are threads asking about this car and details when no one knows. Not even Jay Leno or Jerry Seinfield.

:dunce: Yea man the Nsx they used in the video was just a drawing Pd' couldn't have possibly modeled it !

They didn't for the "curbside" (exterior mock-up concept car) Nissan GT-R concept in the Nissan NCD, but it's still in the game. I'm not saying that they will have the NSX, just saying. ;)

The NSX concept was driving all over the animated virtual tracks in GT5 which had the GT logo everywhere. Not to mention that the NSX looked like PD's work. If PD didn't model that NSX then who's strange idea was it to draw the NSX concept on their own and have it drive around virtual tracks that PD modeled? :boggled:

A big thumbs up for you. 👍

It will be in GT5, if not soon, probably sometime before the end of the year. It is already modeled, albeit the mock-up you see in the trailer. Although it doesn't have an interior, it can still be in the game. Look at the GTR Proto and the FT-86 II Concept. Both have blacked out interiors.

I think he's being sarcastic.

Don't forget the Toyota FT-86 Concept II ;)

I am convinced Honda has forgotten how to build a proper car period....

Seriously they have fallen way off the new cars coming out of their factories look like disasters on wheels and have lackluster performance to say the least.

Hmmm...what's the definition of a proper sports car?

If you try to define it, you get about a 1:1 definition per person asked.

To me, it's a car with the ability to change velocity or direction with ease. I want two seats. And, a design that appeals to my heart, not my head.

Honda is responding to the market (because they are a business). They are trying to create a vehicle that will appeal to enough people to make the production viable. Evolving to incorporate new/emerging technologies and creating a shape that is unique, yet derived from the NSX is a big challenge. Honda doesn't have the resources of Toyota, or the cachet of Ferrari, but they are trying. And they might just succeed.

there are plenty of reviews and articles which in short expose honda's demise in the last ~7 years, both in the daily driver and sport cars classes.

Just to summarise, "hyundai is the new honda".

I've not seen the first minute and a half before, but I don't know if it's new.
EDIT: After watching the (GT5) trailer again, I can't believe they used the FT-86's sounds for it. It's a V6, not a Boxer4. Silly PD, you're starting to really worry me.

@ FezzaLamboRuf: it depends on the market. Supposedly it'll be sold as a Honda in Europe, but as an Acura in the States. I don't know about other markets.

Thats one of the stupidest question i've ever seen!!!:ouch: the new "AcuraNSX!"

Well, it's only in the US that Acura exists. Well, that there is a difference between Honda and Acura. Even though in Japan and UK, they are the Honda NSX, on both of the discs, the British and Japanese copies of the game, they are still listed as the Acura NSX, and also the Honda NSX. Same vehicle, but in the US we need 'luxury' brands.
