New Acura NSX in GT5?

Every time a crap thread like this pops up, I donate fake money to orphanages. So be careful.

In the concept video it showed no form of interior design finished. They probably only modeled the outside so far, and used that to show off Route X.

+1
We'll probably see 10,000 more threads about this.

I was just thinking that, and thought about (jokingly) making a post that asks "You think we'll be seeing another post about the 2013 Acura NSX being in the game soon?"

I'm not convinced it would go over as light-heartedly as intended... ;)

Thats an awesome troll!
And do it in the sim racing hardware section too!
With no periods, capitals, and all in txt speak!

Sorry, I can't do textspeak; I'm too old, and too much of a touch-typist. Proper grammar and correct spelling seem to have been inculcated into me at an early age... ;)

Also, I live in some trepidation at the thought of the dreaded ban-hammer coming down on me for such a**-hattery.

Pay a high school kid $5 to do it, lol.

Remember that the Toyota FT 86 Concept II didn't have a modeled interior either.

On topic: I think that the NSX will become free in an update rather than DLC.

Exactly.
The true badge.

It's the same with Eagle Talon which is a fake Mitsubishi Eclipse.
Because Americans can't stand something non-american made (irony).

If it does come out soon for GT5 which it wont, it will be a concept, cause I can tell you now when it comes out thats not what it will look like or at least the headlights. Everything else will be the same about

You are so wrong by making these statements. Mitsubishi Motors and Chrysler Corporation formed a 50/50 joint venture called Diamond-Star Motors(DSM). The car that DSM manufactured was sold as three different brands. The Eagle Talon and Plymouth Laser were sold by Chrysler and the Eclipse was sold by Mitsubishi. All three cars were manufactured in Normal, Illinois in the USA. The cars were basically mechanically identical but had minor cosmetic differences.
So please tell me, how is the Eagle Talon a fake Mitsubishi Eclipse when they are the same car? How can any of these cars be non-American made when they are all manufactured in the USA?
The NSX Concept car was designed and engineered by Acura, the luxury division of Honda Motor Company. So if the concept car becomes available in GT5, why should it called the Honda NSX Concept?
Finally, the Acura brand is also available in Canada, Hong Kong, Mexico and China in addition to the USA.

Ecchi-BANZAII!!

Thanks for throwing all of us in the same basket.

Funny story: In Japan, the Eclipse is viewed as an American car imported to Japan.

Because it was.

I think it's going to have a similar story as the FT-86 Concept II where it wasn't part of DLC and it wasn't received by everyone in an update either. It would definitely make the car more desirable.

Of course none of us know for sure.

But to me, it appears it will be DLC. I may be wrong, but I believe the GT86 was not shown in promo-s or anything, and basically as soon as it was ready to go, released by Toyota, then it came out on the next patch.

So by this pattern, it would not be fitting in a patch. Acura has not only released it, but it's been at autoshows for a while. At least, I saw it at NAIAS, which was about a month ago now.

Obviously, it's been made. Even if somehow that promo vid wasn't an accurate representation of PD's desired product, I believe it was quite a while ago. Surely it would be done now.

So, under the inference new cars that will not be DLC are released upon creation and company wide release, then it shall be released at a closely positioned patch. How many patches have we had since release[of the NSX]? At least two, at most four.

And at the end of the day, screw it and get the D-NX, it's the concept that has become the new NSX from early 2000's. I'm sure it can be modded to meet the anticipated specs.

They were made in Normal, Illinois. Sans the 4WD, it's as Japanese as a banjo.

I used to own one, and the VIN begins with a 4. But you knew that already.

The problem is, it's not really a sports car like the originals anymore. It's now a car for fat, balding PowerPoint addicts to lease... I mean buy... because it projects the environmentally-concious image they're looking for. Sad thing really.

Also, it actually manages to be uglier than the DN-X. What an achievement.

Curious that you are able to decisively determine this when the car is so early in production that Honda hasn't even released horsepower and weight targets yet.

It has a dual-motor hybrid system. The styling is right outta Star Trek. Chances are, it'll be far more luxurious than the old one - and proportionally less exciting. It's not a sports car, it's a car for people who are worried that a Corvette would offend someone.

I would be glad to have it sold here as a Honda if it meant it would be closer to the original: RWD, lightweight, no environmental pretentions, fewer complicated technologies to brag about.

I dont think so, at least not anytime soon. I just read a mag article saying the Acura NSX will not be ready for production until 2014-2015 so if PD does add it to GT5 it will be a concept car at which it stands now. It also does not have an interior designed (another reason why I dont see it in GT5 anytime soon) so PD would have to design one which wont happen. Oh and the car will not be made in Japan and imported to the US. It will be designed in Ohio and produced in the US and imported to others countries unlike the last NSX. So before I ramble off subject these are just some reasons why I dont see the new Acura NSX in GT5 anytime soon. Cause all you see are threads asking about this car and details when no one knows. Not even Jay Leno or Jerry Seinfield.
