I need start saving....

?double thread? How did that happend?

I thought only Subaru was rebadging the FT-86/FR-S?

Edit: Really though, the front is kinda 2nd-gen tC-ish and the profile is like a CTS Coupe.

Is it just me or, does this car remind anyone else of the old Audi S2 Coupe based on the Audi 80 coupe more than a UR Quattro? especially from the back.

It better have a 20v 5 cylinder turbo in it and not weigh 2.5 tons.

And why the hell wasn't the SWB Sport Quattro a premium car in GT5????????

If I recall right, the concept is closer to 1400kg which is reasonable..

Not a replacement for the TT. It will probably cost more than the TTRS :(

Has the same engine 5 cyl. 2.5l Turbo engine, but wtih more oomph

The concept weights as much as the old Ur Quattro Sport. (1300kg)
I like the digital gauges. Like the old quattro and KITT

Audi has so many coupes in the portfolio, I really hope one gets built

A reasonably priced Audi coupe would be great.

This looks a lot like the front of an LFA was connected via an old Audi Quattro to a Challenger.

Though I really like it, it looks a lot like the old one in a strange way.

It looks good I hope this goes into production. Looks good both in the exterior and the interior.I just hope this is gonna be a revival of the original quattro. And BTW Audi has got three concepts at the same time again! Have this happen since the Nuvolari, Pikes Peak and Le Mans?

The Le Mans was probably the greatest to come out of that lineup it pretty much made what the R8 is today

And the Nuvolari and Pikes Peak pretty much made what the S5 and Q7 are today! Funny how concept cars work.

Front reminds me of LFA's and GT-R's fronts. Interior looks sleek, but exterior is pretty meh.

I agree with you that the Q7 was designed after the Pikes Peak but I really dont see the resemblance between the S5 and Nuvolari but I do see it more resembling the A7

So what does Audi plan on charging for this car? From what I hear, it might go into production in fairly limited numbers, meaning we're talking about super car territory in terms of at least value. But the car really lacks the super car look, more like maybe 35-50k sports car.

The rear end looks more American than German to me... maybe a little '11 Charger influence?

Either way, hope it makes production. 👍

I'm not the only one seeing a similarity here am I?

Thanks, I was wondering why it looked so off-but-familiar.

If they build it I think it will be blasphemous. If it ain't a box, it's not done right.

I like this a hell of a lot more than the bland-as-peanuts (R8 excepted) corporate slurry Audi's been pumping out of late.

Still, 1400kg seems a lot. Or is that just me?

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking that...

I'm still wondering why there are 3 versions of the same concept car, just with different names. I suppose that's what Audi specialise in...

From what I've been reading about this car, it will ( or maybe would ) be in the second spot of Audi performance lineup, being eclipsed only by the R8. I think that is great and everything but, I was kinda hoping they would build a AWD version of the Scirocco, drop in the 2.5 turbo'd l5, give it some squary lines ( like the ones in the concept ) and there you go, relatively accessible new quattro for everyone.

Sadly, that would be a blow on TTRS sales as making it really fast is going to cost sales to the higher end Quattro gmbh performance divison vehicles, so I honestly can't see this car happening. I hope I'm completely wrong, though. It's a gorgeous looking concept and a very naughty proposal. I like it.

^ I think that's pin point.

It will be faster and lighter than the TTRS, so probably going to cost about 80000€.

What would be cool is if they built a special version, like the Urquattro Sport and sell that higher, and on a second level build one that is more pricely accessible. Loose the carbon nood and trunk. That 15000€ less.

I can't think of the last time I've seen a newer Audi and reacted in a positive matter. The constant blathering of my non-gearhead friends of "The lights are pretty!" and "All-wheel-drive is good in the snow!" signals to me that the marketers have won... Audi is a shell of its former self.

That being said, this one is cool. I like the A5 quite a lot, but the trick is going to be making this that much better than an RS5. For the money, I'm not so certain...

^That's the problem with most of the german cars.
all Vw, Audi's, Bmw's, Merc's look the same.
Vw and Audi beeing the worst one.

But AWD is really fun.
Not only in snow. And because Audi and VW only gives you the choice between AWD and FF I would go AWD every single time (I own a modded quattro)

As mentionning the A5, I also really hope they finally built the S5 with the 3 litre S4 engine.
It's a beast and with little mods you come from 330 hp easily to 420hp
