Hi, because it shows the leaderboards online I wanna set a comparable time in time trial, is this seasonal with SRF allowed or not? It's a stock Z4 GT3 with soft racing tyres right?

SRF is forced off on this event. I wasnt able to join because i am using a US account. But i can see the event online.

Ive tried to do some runs did consistent 2:14s then went down to 2:13.989. But yeah all effort down the drain as we are not eligible to take part in this competition.

Maybe I should clarify that I was making fun of Polyphony Digital for their frustrating decision to limit participation in a Seasonal Event based on location. Many players have been waiting an awful long time for some new(-ish) content, but now that it's here nobody in not-Asia (and the Philippines) is allowed to participate!

I'm not speaking on their behalf, just making a bit of fun of them for spending so much time and energy creating a seasonal event that 3/4 of players aren't eligible to participate in. (Sorry about any confusion!)

Are we talking about the same event? This one is on Fuji Speedway F. Given the leaderboard showing 1:33'454 I am wondering if it's with or without SRF.

can someone help me here. i just signed in to my PSN account and the Z4 challenge is supposed to be there in the seasonal events section. i enter seasonal events and i don't see the event! its supposed to be at the left of the corvette C7. i'm living in thailand so of course i am eligible for this contest and its supposed to be there... can someone please help me asap i'm really frustrated here.

is it because i haven't completed national A license? but other seasonal events are there so i assume that's not the problem. or do i have to buy the Z4 GT3? or what's the problem here why isn't the event showing up?

btw, my CD is a BCES. so i assume its from europe. does this factor make it unable to play this particular event?

I'm playing the US version. The seasonal event is not showing up for me either.

Maybe you both need the asian version for playing the event.

That is the case for me, too. I have a Hong Kong PSN account and my IP is HK, but I'm playing the US version. The seasonal event is not showing up for me either.

Not much fun. Z4 GT3 on RS isn't good at braking as I expected. The sticky feel in the whole driving experience is not in the high level of grip (by the RS) but an unnatural handling (probably by the overly high LSD locking etc). Oh well, maybe it's because I'm not familiar with this car.

And, after I got gold, it failed to log on the global list, maybe server was down, so my record is invalid thus no prize car!

Well, OK, I've already had too many unused M4. No actual loss. Just feel bad.

I got gold, but no car yet It may come later. I do have Asian Limited Edition with the book, used my HK account to access the event, US account can't access it.

The event gives the car, BMW Z4 GT3 ( no tuning and seems to be pretuned by PD with stiff suspension, aggressive LSD and custom aero values ), with RS tires and no SRF allowed, track is Fuji Speedway GT, gold time set at 1:39.000, and last time I checked the top time is around 1:33s.

I can check the replay to see the setup

You have to have an Asian CD of the game (R3) and an Asian account (HK, Taiwan, Japan etc).

Nope...After I pass the TT I exit the track and its says "updating rank" then after that its says "Failed to register ranking" "event Ranking Error:-1:-1".

I live in the Philippines too, but I use an HK account...


I did get gold, but I have yet to receive the M4 with special color. I think it would be given away when the competition is finally over.

Just did the event (1:36.789. Those last 4 numbers were just pure luck. Anyone to aim for a 1:33.337 to top the ranks? ), no car yet, 500k payout. The car is meh at best, sounds terribad even by PD standards (engine is muted…very muted), and if Ridox is correct, then PD should stick to modeling cars, not tuning them.

My bad, just did some checking, the car given/used for the TT is stock tune which is why it handle so bad with big camber front and back and massive toes PD didn't tune it, did PD even know the camber is not working

Philippines needs a dedicated PSN. You'll have to make do with an alternative Asian account for now.

EDIT: If you have family living in any of the eligible regions you could try your luck at entering the competition there

Keep practising. Word from a Nissan insider is that the India GT Academy will kick-start the Asian one.

I've checked that I was ranked at 39th of Hong Kong region today at around 6pm HKT, and just now I couldn't find my name from the Online Ranking and lost my gold trophy at the same time

Can anyone help ? I saw that one of my friend from Malaysia had his record removed as well
