New Details about GTA:SA!

I have about a week left including Delivery :(
Can't believe how many new people there are to this thread since North America have approached their release date.

I can get GTA:SA on Thursday night at 8.30. For some reason Blockbuster Video release it the night before. They did it with Vice City when it came out. If your in the UK get down to Blockbuster video Thursday night!
 
I would but my dad won't cancel the amazon.co.uk order! :grumpy:
Still trying to offload that copy onto a mate of mine.
All these shops that are releasing teh game a day early are they doing it legally? I'm just not sure whether they are getting the games that day or whether they are just trying to 'put on up' on the competition.

If these shops are releasing early then I expect Amazon to post early... (I've also pre-ordered thru Amazon)

Therefore I expect it to be in the post by thursday and hopefully will be through the door either Friday or Saturday!!

I defs want it before Monday!!

I think thats the reason why Blockbuster video do it in my town. I live in a small place called Clacton on Sea and there are only 2/3 stores that sell computer games. I think there trying to grab the sales. Don't know where they stand legally on this.

Same here. Although we don't have any Gamestops down here. Not to my knowledge anyway. But I'm friends with a few of the EB guys in my area, and they're a funny bunch. I just rather EB, I don't know why. I've been loyal to them since I was about 9.

Actually, Rockstar said it would take much less time if you were trying to complete the game quicker. The estimate time they gave was for people who would do missions, test out the features, etc, but keep a steady pace on the Storyline Missions.

Any guesses how skinny this guy is? I don't think he's particularly caring about this feature. I would say he's testing out all the other features, instead of wasting his time eating.

first of all the real estate must still be fairly cheap, if he's 49% into the game and only spent 160g's.

I don't think he has bought much property at all. I mean, seeing that they said it would be dearer, he probably wouldn't want to waste his money much on property. I'm guessing he's bought 1 larg-ish house, other than the starting house.

Also, I wonder how exactly dating will work. Any inputs? I think you'll be able to select a number of venues to take your date then when you're there you'll e able to select a few options of what to say and depending on how smoothly things go things might take off from there....

They mentioned a while back that you could date someone, choose a number of different responses and things to say, and see how smoothly it goes. I'm guessing if you hit it off, you will have somewhere that you could go and meet this girl again, etc.

Actually, that was one of the first things that were released from the game. ;)


Also, R32GTST/M, I'm including the San Andreas 100% Checklist in the GTA Checklist thread, not in it's own thread. That will take a while. Probably have to wait for a Strategy Guide or someone to finish the game. Don't expect it too soon.

Also, does someone mind being kind enough to PM me all of the statistics when they get the game (and time to PM them to me). It will get the Record Book set up and ready. Be patient for the Record book. I might wait until Europe and Australia have had it for a few days before posting it. There's no need to post records that early anyway.

Well I no longer have to lie to my Mother that my early morning class is cancelled, so I can go down and get San Andreas...because my Software classes are cancelled all week!

Also, EB Games opens at 8am here, so I'll be down there at 7:30am, latest.

It was lucky, but I still would've gotten away with it. I always get away with everything. I'm thinking of going down there at 7am, and grabbing something to eat from McDonalds or the Bakery for breakfast on the way. I'll sit an hour out, no worries, for this game.
 
i went to our local game shop, and there having it on thursday.. w00t! :)

I just called our EB game store and they will have GTA:SA tomorrow morning. Wow just found out the rental stores will also have it tomorrow. Im shocked! hmm I want to try to back it up if its possible.
 
What do you mean back it up? The fact that you're getting it early? That information was confirmed by GTAGaming.com. The question about that is: What will be Rockstar's response to the breaches of contract?

Yeah, I would definately say it's illegal, I just misinterpreted what you said. My apologies.
 
Well, we don't know if you can fly into the other cities yet, but if you can, I would say that you would have Police and SWAT shooting from the ground, as well as a Police Chopper that would include a couple of Cops that would shoot at you from the sky.

It won't be easy to view each City at the start of the game, but it will be doable. I'll have a few attempts at least. ;)
 
Well with the all-new climb technique ala. THUG style, I'm sure there are ways you can get over walls and such to fly a plane. I just hope there are Military Aircraft to come and use you as Stinger aiming practice.
 
I'm looking forward to having a massive Freeway Burn tour round the state at the beginning...

Hopefully I can make it round with out getting too cained!!
