sor for double post or woteva, erm, big annoying factor here from the gamespot review, i thought rockstar had grown out of this bull?

If so you could make a race with 4 checkpoints on it (or so) and when you get to each checkpoint quickly snap a photo and onto the next... Then proof of time would be the 4 photo's and their date and times..

I don't think it exactly works that way. I think you have to be out of the car, holding the Camera, and stopped. It's not a screenshot, I don't believe.

Im 99% sure that it is in as a rideable item, if not rideable, then it's a melee weapon.

So they could get it rated properly, have enough time to prepare sending it, etc. October 19th and October 22nd wasn't a big enough time frame for them.

But, anyway, start the thread. I suggested it a while back, but noone heard me. ;) It will be a welcome addition. We could start a GTA Weekly Race Series (mentioned by someone else), who knows?

I don't think it should be stickied, but start it up once you see my San Andreas Community Thread. That will be a couple of weeks from now, so be patient. But the 2 threads have the same contribution factor, and they don't need to be started up straight away.

But I wouldn't get it stickied, it doesn't need to be. It will be active enough, and if it goes off the first page, it'll get revived eventually.


Also, can I request that noone post any spoilers from the game in here? I'm going to make a temporary thread to talk about spoilers, until the San Andreas Discussion thread is up.

That is probably old news.

The way in which CJ is "restricted" has already been confirmed.

Yeah they were. You posted how it will be an Earthquake.

The 4-Star Wanted Level is confirmed, the Earthquake is out.
 
forgive me for soundin like an ignorant english know it all or whatever, i just read on the brand new gamespot review that it is al lthat earthquake nonsense, and nothin was mentioned about the wanted level idea, which i also thought was confirmed.

They can diffinately travel faste than in VC. There is even a motion blur... :indiff:
 
Another thing about the restricted areas thing, while watching videos of the pirated game, I noticed the road was blocked off by barriers......I thought it was a 4 star thing? Cause in the video, I totally recall seeing the bridge lead to another area, but its blocked off by signs.....:confused:

Actually no!, ive just read the gamespot review and they confirm the earthquake blocks part of the map, the reason for the cop star thing is that you'll be able to get aircraft and fly into locked areas and this would be the likely way to stop people doing this.
 
thats why i posted, coz i was sure it was confirmed with the four star thing, which was a really good idea i thought. the link fo rhte gamespot review is in an earlier post, althought what i put was a direc qupote from the text, not realy much nede for context in this case.

also, donbenni, in my limited experiecne as a passenger in florida, the americans have huge four lane roads with 55mph speed limits, so maybe gta was actually realistic? the sheer frustration of travelling route 19 at 60mph with miles of wide straight road, and then driving along the a14 at 80mph in england which is two lanes. i just dnt know.

Well I like the idea, seeing that you can fly over it. I still see it as a good thing. Now that's why you will get a wanted level. I wonder if cars will be driving and people will be walking over in San Fierro and Las Venturas when they're blocked off?

I don't see why not, they will be later in the game.
 
Yes but an Earthquake has gone off, and people would be evacuated won't they?

Unless it's an earthquake that just tears through the bridges, then that's fine.
 
Arghh..SA has been released for over an hour ago......I need to get this game....but my damn mom is it work...:banghead:. When my bud S13Drifting...is talking about how good it is, is so damn irritating.
 
My aunt and uncle are crap. You know that? Crap! They didn't keep up their end of the deal. They were supposed to take my money and reserve my game while I was at school. They didn't. Now I'll have to wait a week. If they don't get the game by Friday, I'm outta here. 👎
