They didn't give the okay. We were wondering before about whether Rockstar would respond to it or not. It's a breach of contract. Anyway, I think it's in the San Andreas: Pirated! thread. It's hard keeping up with what Topic is in what Thread, with all these useless junk happening at the moment.

Sorry, very frustrated.
 
I don't see why Rockstar would give a damn. They're getting their money and fewer people will bother downloading the game now that they can just buy it.

I still want to see this mysterious contract.
 
It's not mysterious. There's a contract that goes between virtually every game developer that outlines more things than just the Release Date. But it is part of it, and that's the thing.
 
i got the gam tonight got home at 7:30 and its now 11:00, havnt took my eyes off the screen except for this 5 minutes. just thaught i would tell everyone the game rocks, bicycles are fun as hell, same with lowriders, and i went cruising for an hour and a half, and barly made a dent in the map, and i got lost plenty of times i cant find my way outta town im so lost.
there were like 5 people in line at microplay, but hey im not complaining i was in and out. and the game comes with 2 posters and the store gave me a release date poster. the game rocks my socks.

Yeah. It's so frustrating being in Australia right now...still 3 days!! :(

I suppose being in Europe is worse, because they're a fair way behind us in terms of Time Zones.
 
yeah thats the funny thing if it were the original release dates we could have had it after them, but now with the new released dats we get it before them.
 
Yeah, that would certainly frustrate the hell out of them. It's a good sign to me though. To me it means that only minimal editing was done with the Australian and NZ versions, where as they look to have done a lot of editing to the European versions.
 
I think it was to co-incide the release with that of the PStwo. God I wish I had this game! Still have to wait SOOOOOOO long, at least it seems that way!
 
Hey I thought you got 4 stars when you went outside the explored area. I did and it didnt give me 4 stars. Maybe cuz I had 2 stars at the time. Oh well. I'm having fun out in the country in the police suv. :D

Well, that's almost definately to do with the video format. The only other possibility is what started to happen with my PS2 playing Vice City. I'm getting a new PS2, it's really screwed. But what happened is, the traffic (driving normally) started to lag. As in the cars would skip, as if it was MTA. Then went the action scenes. Then went the more populated scenes. It just went bad. I'm getting a PStwo now because of it. But I still think it's because .avi files aren't the best quality. Is that above video Hks_Fanatic just posted what you are basing "cool" on? Because I seriously doubt you have seen 1/1000th of what the game has to offer. Same here. It's just an outstanding game. It has really blown me away.

i quoted the whole post about a thing , i just readed the Gamespot review
in their review they are saying that the game is running smooth if you have a fresh ps2, well mine isn´t that fresh i have the same in vice city it skips sometimes
if i look " the play hours with ffx, ffx/2 and vice city and a couple of other games mine ps2 has more then 1500play hours.
im thinking of getting a new one too. hopefully it runs smooth if not im gonna save money for a new one...(im having Sa thursday)
i didn´t know that the age counts in performance..

I was fully just about to edit my post and say something.
People have to realise the smallest bit of information can mean soo much, just keep it quite till friday, say as much as u like then.
