New Details about GTA:SA!

I just picked up the game, but I'm on vacation for another week before I can get home to play it - agony! But I can say that Canadians will get two copies of the poster/map with the game - one in english, one en francais. Since the poster side is identical on both, w000 - two posters! I know it's not that exciting but it's the best I can do right now...
 
Are GAME and EB the same thing?
Recently some EB shops near me have mysteriously transmogrified into GAME stores.

Just went onto my Dads Outlook Express and found teh e-mail conformation for GTA:SA order. Being mailed 28th October (YAY!) won't arrive till 1st/2nd November!:grumpy:
Why didn't he put it on special delivery like I asked!:( There'd better be a council strike Thursday or I'll blow. :ouch:

Well I did ask him to cancel it so I could pick the game up in town on Friday because it is my mate's birthday (Not Jack's). But nooo, he won't cancel the order either!

No it is James Sawyer's birthday (Buff from BB). I'm going to see if I can offload the amazon game onto a mate.
 
2nd thoughts I might be bale to sell it for a 5er less if it is in mint condition, including security wrap, to a low life games shop.
 
My PStwo will be fine. I'm guessing it will run smooth, as they set back the dates to sell it in conjunction with the PStwo.
 
Cool never knew you had the PS2Two Matt, On another note, I got the game over 4 hours ago, and I still haven't been able to stop! This game is the best GTA period.
 
i woke up at 7:30 this morning and its now 10:00 pm and i havnt turned it off, its still running cool no over heating and im 14 % done. and another thing my hand hurts like crazy

My model no. is 39002 i think its a later one so i should be sweet, i was a bit woried about this early model problem but i think ill be fine, my PS2 is a non infrared one though and its PAL, maybe its only NTSC ones that are affected.

I've not had a mail yet... When did you preorder? I've had it on order since May... are you before or after?

What's the first letter of your dads email address?

Mine's 'M' is yours before or after that?

My dad had an e-mail almost immediatley after pre-ordering. :irked:
Just so you know the first letter is 'L', yes, 'L'.

I think it is too late to cancel the order now. Unless I do it tonight and hope that the game is in stock when go in. Oh well I doubt. Just have to go for the change of delivery.

[EDIT] what delivery did you use. My dad chose the super saver when I asked for the next day delivery! :grumpy:
 
I went for Super Saver too cos I can't afford not too!!!

I was just trying to work out why you'd had a mail and I hadn't...

Maybe the servers are clocking through all the email addresses and hasn't got to mine yet!?

Well it says that you won't get the game till November 1st/2nd if you use SuperSaver.

To be honest I was willing to pay for first class delivery beacsue I still think it would have worked out cheaper than most highstreet shops. And less hassle. Or so I thought.
