OT: I'm really enjoying Twin Ring and the new Scion. Sure the tracks a little bland but so is the real one, so it's hard to blame PD for that. The Scion, while basically the same as the 86, but it was free, so you won't here me complaining.

Either your on the mobile app or you're just wanting to be banned. Mocking moderators and administrators is not the behavior of even a slightly intelligent person. And you talked 🤬 about NASCAR fans? Yeah ok.

A fully modded FR-S with default settings is pretty ass happy. Bone stock on sport softs is a nice drive.

i still think you're the one that's "new to this internet thing", even an ip ban won't stop someone from making a new account in minutes, also i think any mod doing so would be overstepping his bounds for someone simply stating their opinion, we can't agree on everything...now run along ;)
 
I think you are new to "this internet thing," since you can't differentiate having an opinion versus attacking someone or something.

Imagining...Toyota bB with two plates...Scion xB with rollcage! :lol: Would save me 20,000 creds. Anyway, did anyone get the FR-S in a color other than red? I know my two accounts got different colored 86-GT's, just wondering if the FR-S was the same.
 
^I think everyone got red. The 86 was gifted, so it came in a random color, but the Scion works like the paid DLC, everyone gets it in the default color.

Very nice they finnally released a new track but pretty frustrating at the same time 5$ for a track that is already on the game 100kb for the download it seems that Xbox show the way to make more money to playstation if they release 30 more track at this price the game will cost at the end 210$ + DLC cars :( soon they will charge us for the network! but well best simulation game on console ever

Twin Ring Motegi was part of the last update. It was not on the disc since launch.

This will not happen, because the DLC's were in the last update.
And this is a good idea, because if you don't buy the Scion for example your PS3 still needs the information if you drive online. It can happen that others use the DLC car and you couldn't see them if the DLC's wouldn't be included with the updates. Or other problems like a freeze would happen if they don't use this solution.

And what has the Xbox to do with that?
 
The "already in the game" argument does get a little old. DLC is installed with updates, then what you download on purchase simply unlocks it. It's just how PD roll and doesn't mean everyone shuold have a right to play that content for free. Only criticism I do have about this method is that the updates take up more HD space than they should for those who *don't* purchase the DLC, but I can see why they do it like this.

Regarding DLC in general, I must admit I do think the Forza 4 DLC often looks awesome, it's fast becoming much more of a car porn game but it's important to point out that Forza hasn't offered any new tracks yet. Kaz has also recently confirmed further DLC is to follow (see News section) and personally I believe that last update of 500MB or so had a lot more than one track, a few effectively reskinned cars (the Scion and the GTA cars) and a few tweaks. I reckon there were at least a couple more tracks in there.

At the beginning all seemed regular, I've bought it, downloaded, installed and from now on "things" happened;p I started the game and then went to "downloadable content" and installed all possible things there, now time for GT mode and tests on new tracks, right? HELL NO! somehow I can't find any of motegi tracks! how come?
Have any of you suffer same thing?

Lol, you do realize that you mentioned that you can "only" use the track in 3 out of 4 modes? I'm pretty sure, where you can use it outweighs where you can't.

I know. The prices for any DLC here in New Zealand are simply appalling compared to the rest of the world.
I mean, nearly $10 for Twin Ring Motegi!:crazy:

What do you mean that it is not in GT Mode? Both practice and online is part of GT Mode. It is probably also just a matter of hours until it is featured in a seasonal event.
 
I like what i payed for. Thats why i payed for it. This is way better than the rm cars yall bought a couple months ago

Maybe "not in the actual game"? Practice and online are side modes, whereas A-Spec and B-Spec are the actual core game, most especially A-Spec.

I agree that A-Spec and B-spec are significant game modes but I find it very misleading to isolate the definition of GT Mode to those two. Basically, GT Mode is everything that is not Arcade Mode and the Course Maker.

Did you go to "Practice"? Also, on what account did you install and attempt to look for the track?
 
ofc I tried practice also :) I'm kinda sure that the problem is wrong region disc (I do have EU version of it) and yes I've installed DLC on US account. Anyway thats not first and not last 5 bucks wasted in world's history ;)

Agreed, manufactured cautions, Danica Patrick obsession, an idiot driver who thinks NASCAR has better drivers than F1 (Brad Keselowski) and possible just another excuse for middle-America to sit on it's arse doing but drink as always.
