New draft!!

No draft? There is plenty. I had a few races with the goal of testing the draft. On weak setting it's great. You need to stay in the draft for quite some time to build up speed to pass. I think the difference on the back straight at Daytona Road was maybe 5 mph. A huge improvement.

Erm, again I might be wrong but I don't believe there ever was draft in Free Run ........

You are correct. In free run before a race there was no draft as that would effect your qualifying time or "hotlap" per say.

Oh my God, the game is totally ruined. RUINED. It will never be the same, no fixing it now.

The original 'draft' was way off. The new draft is, uh, better.

At which track did you try testing the draft with your mate? The effects of a draft can't adequately be put out in a short straight, you need to run through a certain distance to realize the effects of a traction behind the car which is leading you.

We tested on Sarthe but have since found out draft only comes into effect under race conditions we have had our botties spanked since by all the clever people in this thread.

but PD left much stuff out to make it "real" and to cry about no draft is just a shame.... better no draft than bad simulated
