amar212NEW INFO UPDATE - 3rd APRIL 06.
Gran Turismo 4 Online will be premiered and presented at E3 2006 in Los Angleles (10th - 12th May).
Less then 45 days of wait.
You might have a bit of a job finding network adaptors for old version PS2's (like mine) since they don't make them any more (I think)....CosmicI still find this way too late...so am I supposed to buy an adaptor + the ''new'' game?
James2097Lets face it, we'll whine and b*tch, but buy the damn thing anyway...
Good point there KSaiyu 👍KSaiyuI just hope they address the damage factor, since without a penalty there won't be an incentive for the majority of drivers to drive clean and it'll end up a dodgem chapionship at the first corner.
ScaffVery true (well for me at least), still they have had long enough to at the very least add in some more content and I would personally expect to see this at a lower price point.
Along the lines of the remix version of Midnight Club 3.
Regards
Scaff
I think it's safe to say so. Here in the States, we have a chain store called Circuit City. They had the PS2 Network adapter on sale a few months ago for $19.99. I went to get one but they were out, and they said they'll never have that item back in stock.Touring MarsYou might have a bit of a job finding network adaptors for old version PS2's (like mine) since they don't make them any more (I think)....![]()
JohnBM01When someone asked if GT4 was a Beta, a number of people said that it is. Does this online component complete the series, or is it still a "beta?"
live4speedI personally am not exited by it, I race online all the time on my PC, but I just don't think I'll have any need for it by the time it arrives. I'll probably have a PS3 by then and be enjoying that, I've already done everything I want to do in GT4 and rarely pick it up any more. I just don't see any possible reason why I'd want GT4other than to race online, which I can and do do in plenty of other sim racers.
I had this username over on supercars.net long before Live for Speed S1 was in developmentWolfe2x7Hmm...I wonder what driving sim live4speed enjoys playing online on his PC...![]()
The one thing GT4 offers that PC sims don't is the ability to choose from hundreds of licensed cars, and the ability to race on a fairly large variety of real-world tracks...![]()
amar212This one is bad.
Just a day after the confirmation of GT4OE showing on E3 (as it will be published in the April issue of PSM magazine) another source has claimed that SCEE has actually ditched the Online Edition project few days ago.
In the light of this news I'll sustain from any futher posting on this subject untill official validation of any of the two informations.
