Always happy to get extra content. I'm guessing this one will be lighter and become the new king of the drag strip.

This is pretty cool, but I'd like to see something different for a change, but at least it's free!

I don't understand.

Are they offering a playable car within Gran Turismo?
Are they offering a die-cast model that'll be sent to your home?
Are they offering both?
The only requirement is to participate in the upcoming time trial?

Yes.
No.
No.
Yes.

x2 on the USA GT Academy 370 car. I don't recall seeing anything about redeeming a participation code to get that. Weren't we all supposed to?

Free content is always fine. At least I don't have to pay for another Nissan.

Just so people know, this isn't an entirely NEW car... It's the same Academy car offered to the EU players a while back for participating.

Bottom line:
New for everyone BUT EU.

The news post is a little misleading, saying it's only familiar from the die-cast model...

I knew it.
The car is pretty cool, the only thing I dislike is that you cannot change the racing number.

^But you can change rims. I already have it, already tuned and get bored with. Thanks Poliphony for not givin a damn about EU customers. :) Why don't gift the GT-R to the rest of the world, and give EU people something else? :)

Hey now ... Let the rest of us catch up for a bit.

Pay HKS Racer no mind, he just likes to think everything he says is always right and it's the rest of the world that's wrong.

Yeah sure, just hope PD one day will remember about their EU fans.

Seriously, what the hell are you talking about? We got this car months ago, we had the Signature Edition and even GT4 PAL had almost 40 cars more than the other versions if I remember correctly.

you get it if im reading correctly just for participating

Well, I agree with you.

This way, being a Pats fan is not the only thing you got right, my friend.

Everywhere the car giveaway is cited, it clearly states that it is a PARTICIPATION prize, this way, one can only assume the car is given for those who take part on the race, no matter what result they get.

think also australia/EU got a different model with the signature edition. i ended up getting the SLS AMG one. :)

America is Region 1 mate :)

I see, thanks for the info. 👍

Anybody knows if I can get the car since I am playing with a Region 1 disc and an Asian PSN account?

And if not, can I create an American account and get the car?

And last, If I create the American account, can I load the save game of the Asian account?

For instance, Is the save game of the Asian account playable with the American account?

Or do I have to start a new game?

Thanks in advance! I really need your help! :)

Because not whole of EU got the car. Apparently nordic countries weren't part of europe during the last academy competition. :)
