I'm 99% sure all cars will have a cockpit view, but we were confusing and by reading his exact reply it seems that he wanted to know if we wanted a PSP style interior view AS WELL AS the normal view. :)

yeah i think too he mention option of black frame just to mention it like a new option not replacement for standard cockpit view.

heheh i will find it amusing if in near future when he will show GT5 with black frame interior because of that interview and questions from Gt planet :P

Our brick in GT5 :P

If all cars have cockpit view why the hell on earth they don't show "standard" cars?I'll tell you why - they don't have a cockpit view. And Kaz asking us what we prefer more - don't have cockpit at all or a black "cockpit" like in PSP.If not - WHY HE EVEN MENTIONING "BLACK COCKPIT"...Yes.Because it exists...

unfortunately i have to agree with your logic :nervous:

Because when you are promoting anything you want to show your greatest assets... Personally I think all the cars will have cockpit view, the PSP version had that view, so GT5 will have it. Why experiment with it if you didn't intend to include it. Something that pops up in a GT game for the first time is usually a test run for future installments.

And I have more proof...

I'll quote myself:

To conclude:

2008 GT5P - about 70 premium cars
2010 March 31 - (striving to) about 170 premium cars
2010 November 2 - 200 premium cars

Makes sense...I mean no way they have 70 cars with cockpit at 2008, then 850+ at 2010.

Remember GTHD?Those a standards. We know that at first GTHD has a "premium mode" - which is...GT5P like."Standard" mode is upscaled GT4 with 16 cars at 1080p60.

At E3 2007 - when PD showing GT5P they said that they build all the cars from parts (=those are premiums).Puzzle solved.

This what confuses me lets take the GT-R34 VSpec Nur ll in GT5P. Lets say this is a premium car, dont you think a regular R34 GTR which probably is a standard car, that basically has the same interior as its premium big brother will have no interior? That seems crazy to me they could easily duplicate it right?

I hope that the man who released the article talking about cockpits knows what he started. I would of rather been surprised with the bad news at release then to be confused and pissed off for the next 6 months.

GTR is premium (no doubt) - VSpec is tuned "premium". (and it's in "tuned" car class as from miximax video)

What i don't understand is if he is considering the race cars as premium cars also. From what i have read i get the idea that race cars will be completely destructible. Which again from what i have read only premium cars are detailed enough to be aloud to become completely destructible. To me it seems like there would be well over 50 race cars and that would take up some of the 200 premium.

If the race cars aren't premium why would they not have cockpits. It seems to me like there will be cockpits for every car and in that interview like some people are saying, he was either being sarcastic or just referring to an additional view on top of the traditional cockpit view.

If that is true than we only have 40 or so more cars with a cockpit view left, so they squandered 80% of their best cars 4 years before release tricking people into believing that the cars are equally detailed.

At the time of GT5p's release nobody thought that the vast majority of the cars in the full game would be greatly reduced in detail compared to the normal cars in prologue, nobody!

If all of this is true than we have been greatly misled and lied too for the past 4 years for this game.

I highly doubt he was being sarcastic lol...

^^^ That's a question.And another question about tuning "deepness".
I think beginner and old-car races are among "standard cars", while serious LeMans or GT are among "premiums".They just add "STANDARD/PREMIUM" restriction for race.

Ok what about the RX-7 Spirt R that is a premium car however the RX-7 which should be in GT5 listed as a standard car has a similar cockpit. PD should have no problem modelling it. still belive all cars will have cockpits we will just have to wait.

Kaz was being sarcastic in my opinion, sort of saying about blackframes, "So, that's what you want is it?" It just doesn't show typed out.

Here I took a pic of the BMW 135i from Prologue of the Video from the News Section where they show all the Cars in the E3 Demo , and it says Premium ! not 100% visible on the pic but watch the video and you'll notice it... :(

This is exactly what i am thinking. Why the **** would anyone want that over normal cockpit view?

Okay good this just means that all cars will have interior and cockpit views just 200 of them will be better than the others :)

Not only that but HE DOESNT SPEAK ENGLISH, so it goes Tweet(from fan) read by tweetmaster to translator guy, translated to Japanese, Kaz answers in Japanese to Translator guy who takes about 1.1 seconds to respond to tweetmaster in English who then summarizes in less than 140 characters the answer that was translated from Japanese to English.

RX-7 is premium.All GT5P cars are premiums.

Why would KY even mention black cockpits if he knew all cars have cock pit view.
Face it, we are not getting cockpits in 800 cars

Yes.Sadly yes...:indiff:

Standard y Premium. Los primeros serán más de 800, muchos de ellos aparecidos en las entregas anteriores del juego -como el Viper, el Ford Mustang, el Nissan GTR y
meristation interview specified the example of standard cars: viper, mustang and skyline, all have interior...
