I dont know if i can call myself new to drifting, its just been a 2 days in GT4, but i have been drifting a lot in "Need for Speed Underground" and im considered the best drifter in my friends. Then someone mentioned that other that just hardcore racing in GT4, its possible to drift as well. appearently i learned: even if ur a good drifter in "Need for Speed", u would suck at drifting in GT4 cuz earlier that was just baby stuff. in my 2 days of drifting, im able to hold drifts, like up to two drifts but im still having a lot of probelms with snapback even with recommended settings and even though i know what im doing wrong (too much countersteer). i guess a need a lottttttt of practice.

Hello! Just another new member here that loves to drift in GT4. I'm not really good at it, but all the guides have helped me improve. I'd like to give thanks to everyone that made them.

Yea my names, well my tag is ERA. i been on this site scince GT3, when drifting wasnt as big as it is now. I was awsome. Now with the phisics change in GT4, im nice, but not as good as i was before. Im here to freshen up and start nailing those BIG drifts. i enjoy using my BMW M3 CSL and My RX 7. My audi S4 is sloppy. i hope i can get the help i need. Glad to be back boys.

Hey guys and girls. I'm on board to this drifting thing in hopes to spice up my GT experience.

Hey everybody. I've been drifting for a quite some time now in gt4. I'm not too good, but i'm getting there. I'll upload my evo VI and EK9 drift videos and you can give me some pointers on how to drift better. :sly: :dopey:
I'm a huge fan of real drifting btw...

hey guys jsut registered here but have been checking out the whole site and i gotta thank whoever started this site! i was watching team fbi on google videos and i decided right then and there that i would become a drifter! i had alot of trouble figuring out the settings for my cars and finally took a look in some posts and i can't remember who but they left a thread stating exactly how to build an s 2000 drift car and lo and behold i went home that day and have been drifting ever since! (still trying to figure oout the settings for awd cars will have to research that more thouroughly) i hope to post some race pics and such i've got some pretty cool ones!

hi i'm new here, i've found this webby just today because i saw this video on youtube that GT4 cars can drift, that is something new to me. i've been playing all the GT, and found out that something so cool, the cars can drift.. ya.. i tried to drift today but i'm not sure why.. my car seems to oversteer and sometimes i can't drift nicely on the road, it always seems to drift out to the grass.. and when i hold the throttle during slides, it tends to spins.. anyone can give me advise? cause i'm really interested in this "new" drifting thingy in GT4 ya.. and, i love exotic cars! just hope someone can help yeah~ thanks! :)

Welcome,
Yes it will be hard to start drifting, you will get frustrated, but the ones who stick with it usually become good drifters. You will have to learn quite a few techniques too.

Hey guys. I'm so glad I found this place. I've been playin GT since it came out and I love it. Best game ever made. Anyways, I've always been looking for a good run on a track to watch the replay. I've seen a couple vids on here and I'm very impressed. I'm just now starting to learn how to drift. Can't find any good settings for my S2k though. Input welcome.

My nickname is Takumi my real name is U.J. Ive actually been drifting since GT1, but ive settled with GT4. I play sometimes from sun up to sun down. Its all about practice for me. Do you know how to record? and welcome to GTP, where we don't tolerate Initial D to a point.
