and what happened?
Its not that I do it in the video game, it just seems interesting. Im not going to mod heavily, I also want it as a daily driver. Im not going to drift everyday, probably when there is like some track time. I know that CA has its rules, my brother got alot of tickets for his eclipse. Plus, I like how the S13 looks like just stock.Doesn't seem like a good idea to get something like that for your first car. Insurance wouldn't be cheap, you'd have to pay the Fast and the Furious tax, CA has super strict rules on modding...having only one car that you bought to learn to drift because you do it in a video game...I wouldn't do it. If you do any of that sort of stuff, you'd probly want a backup anyways, for when it breaks down.
dude dont listen to him. he must be young. anyway insurance is cheap(less expensive) for 240s and even cheaper for 86s. anyway fast and furious tax is gone. wow just do what you want dude dont get discouraged.
Trust me im a senior member at an 86 forum and they all drift and daily drive their 86s. and its 20 YEARS OLD! you can do it.![]()
it's funny. i've been an avid Gran Turismo fan since it's initial debut and was always inclined at fine tuning personal favorite vehicles.
recently picking up where i left off in GT4. i noticed i had reached a road block in my excitement of playing. my personal favorites were fully tuned for Nurimburg, and it just got old flying throught that track.
today i logged onto wikipedia's listing for GT4 and landed onto this Forum.
after many hours of reading my excitement has once again reclaimed much of my day. now, i'm running late for many appointments and behind on school reading.
i never realized there were this many people actively interested in auto tuning with the Gran Turismo Franchise.
bottom line. it's good to see that there are other minds working on the same things of interest and hopefully i can upload some videos soon for the forums enjoyment.
how can you upload your own personal avatar to show under your name. i can't find that option anywhere.

Be careful when drifting in real life 👍 On the screen, it may look sick but I think when doing that, takes alot of practice o_O.
Then if there is no question, you don't have no answer.Welcome to all the new members. Absorb all the greatness that is GTPlanet. And don't be afraid to ask for words of wisdom from the many drift gods that roam this here site. Unless it has already been asked a million times, so remember to search before you ask.![]()
To Drift or not to Drift, there is no question.

hey guys,
I come from Canada and I'm a new drifter but I've been here for a while. I drift with my DFP and I suck real bad. I drive a "04 Honda S2000 type V ( in the game) and I can't get to do some nice drifts. anyway
don't mind my english, I'm french![]()
Hello everybody, I've been reading this thread for a while, and finally decided to register. GT4 got too easy for me racing grip, so I decided to give drifting a try. My current project car in the game is the Buick GNX, and sadly, my real car would be a FF saturn ls series.
