Hi, I've been around the forums a while but I'm joining the drifting community now. So far the only experience I've had in drifting is taking a FF Citroen C5 to Infineon. That car will easily kick out if you hit the e-brake.

:-)

Hi im Mat. i just started trying to drift on GT4 and so far well... it aint going so good :dunce:

i recently bought the HKS D1GP Silvia for 200,000. just cant seem to get it sideways i left it stock and i dont know if i need to do anything to it.

i also have 3 different Skylines the '89, Nur II, and the Nur (cant remember their years ) but i can successfully drift them OFFROAD dont know if you can actually call that drifting

Im SlidinSideways, I currently drift a '04 C8 Laviolette, '05 BMW M5, and '04 EVO MSR edition. (also i have '86 ruf btr, 99 Silvia R Aero, 93 Silvia K Aero, Fairlady Z tune) These cars ALL Drift.

I am decent, only been at this for a little while, but i can drift an entire track and without spinouts.

hi im a new drifter/member and my drifting is starting to get decent i practice on tsukuba (in arcade mode with a tureno levin ae86and in gt with a nismo fairlady z s-tune) and already drifted the complete track (im the best gt4 drifter in my town(in beligum) and for my age(13)!)

Hey, i'm a Drift kid. i like drifting...i've been sliding since around July 2005 because i was watching Formula D! i like driving and sliding my AE86 and my sweet Sileighty. I'm a little annoyed by people saying Fast and The Furious Tokyo drift is soo cool and they act like drift "noobs".

hey my names matt i go to college and work, i'm 19/20 and a hardcore rotary fan, i love any sort of rotary car, and used to own a 88' FC in real life i miss it lol:grumpy: aanyways, my drift car of choice at the moment is a 2002 rx-7 spirit r
my setup at the moment is very good to my style though still needs some very fine adj. i generally make my own set ups from scratch,

Welcome new guys. Jump in and have fun. Don't forget to READ THE STICKIES! :D

Im not a new drifter but ive never posted in here:dunce:, anyways i am Josh, i drift now and then but im just getting back into the GT4 thing, getting ready for Gt5 P/GT5.

I guess you can say I'm new here but I did register a while back. Drifting in GT4 is fun and I like it a lot. I'm pretty good at drifting any FR or MR car in the game and takes me about 5 mins to tune each car. My favorite is the K' Aero S14 Silvia. I use a lot of fast drifting when time attacking on the Nurburgring. My most recent time was 8'03.599.

My Specs for the S14 Silvia

Power: 342 HP
Engine: Port Polish, Engine Balance, Racing Exhaust, and Sport Chip
Turbo: Stage 2 Turbo, Racing Intercooler
Drivetrain: Sport Clutch, Sport Flywheel, 1-Way LSD
Suspension: Semi Racing (same suspension settings for drift and time attack.)

It's nice to know that other players love this game as much as I do.:)

I was drifting for about a month, but then I stopped plying GT4 for a while(About 4-5 months). But now I'm back into it, and I restarted my game. I currently have no car set up for drifting, but as soon as I can afford it, I'll make sure to see what you guys think, becasue I'm not really sure how to set up a drifter.

Quickest way to earn money is in the Special Events and do Costa 'd something ... (2nd race in the menu ... if that helps) and you race 2 races (2 laps each) and you get a rally car you can sell for $265,365 ... you can repeat as many times as you want ... it's how I got all my cars with full setups ........ lol.

I would like to consider myself a "Drifter", but only because I use it to go faster in a great deal of turns. Coincedently it helps to put distance between you and your competition when you can maintain massive speed and enough angle to handel any turn, and they have to brake to follow a "grip" line.

Hello GTP - I too am new, and love driving games. On PS2, nascar,GT4,need for speed, etc. I've been hooked on photomode for years, and always drift for at least one photo - what driver doesn't like drifting! Thanks for having me at GTP.:)
