Thanks man, I appreciate it.

Just a slight error in the weights mentioned above . The weights are to be 800kg or higher for Madrid and 1200kg or higher for G.V.,not lower.

Only had to buy 4 cars from the OCD, apparently I have all the others, well except the A 160 Avantgarte.

I'll probably view the cars in my garage, and switch out the high mileage ones....as usual

Does this OCD have less cars than usual, or am I imagining things?

aarghh.. just bought the C9 yesterday from UCD...

Unfortunately is something that happened before to all of us, buying an extremlly expensive car from UCD to find it in the very next OCD zero miles, half the price.

I don't have the C9 so a nice OCD to me 👍

yeah - in a down-tuned Nissan Race Car! I don't know why this annoys me, but it does.

PD should make all TT events like the amg one. they provide the car we have to use. then would cut out alot of the folk turning down their power limiters

I hoped for exactly the same thing, but have you seen the options for 1989? I ended up with a Nissan Skyline instead (BUT it was painted in Midnight Purple! :dopey:)

The Monaco Drift Trial is going to take some practice, crikey!

Madrid Mini is challenging also but for once I own the car which is topping the leaderboards, should give an indication of how well or badly I am doing!

However, on achieving the silver trophy on my first lap I only received the prize for the bronze time.Furthermore on achieving the gold trophy I obtained the gold prize and still no silver prize. Could this just be a problem with my account/PS3/game or has anyone else experienced a similar issue. It's not too much of a problem but I sure would love to own an extra Race Suit, never mind the 350,000 Cr.

A Cote d'Azur Drift Trial? That should be challenging!!!

I wish it was challenging. I golded it without to much trouble in a '04 Civic... forgot to change cars after the time trial.
Just FYI, i Placed 980th with a score of 5402

EDIT: Just golded Daytona on the first attempt in the Civic...8445, for a placing of 1939th

Nice to see cheating as is the norm these days in Madrid TT , Just veiwed fastest time replay bouncing off barries seems to be the way of getting into the 54 min laps.

I wish PD would get on top of this issue I am glad to be in top 400 but thats without driving into walls.

Why can they not have full damage for these events just like you can online if you want them, at least it would not allow them to get away with using walls to bounce off:banghead::banghead:

So do you use handbrake or just lift-off oversteer? Never tried drift in FWD.

Agreed though. The place scores seem a bit low to me: for example you only need 8300 ish to gold Daytona but the top online score was over 30000 earlier - there is lot of drift zone on this track.

I golded both trials with my Subaru 360 - Monaco is pretty easy, but Daytona was a bit more difficult due to the 360's distinct lack of power. Five or six attempts though and I'd pretty much worked out the entry speeds and turn points.

What car is best for the Madrid time trial? I can't seem to find any fast enough.

I used the `04 Integra Type R Race Modified and got within 1.5 seconds of the top time, hopefully I can knock a few tenths off the time too. To answer your question I'd use either the above or the `98 EK Civic Type R Race Modified or even the Spoon Civic or Integra. The Trial Celica would also be a good try.

The Focus ST may be a decent option too... although I did it in the Integra R. It seems you need the lightweight for the hairpins. I'm suprised that the "red times" didn't come up, though. That's a shame.

Taking a look to the Leaderboard, I would say Honda Integra Race Modified or the Trial Celica SS II.

I tried the RM Honda Civic, but there was too much skidding in acceleration, too much wheelspin compared to Integra

I managed a gold time with the Citroen Xsara Rally Car after trying a few different production cars first. Taking a look at the leaderboard replays though I notice some of the top guys (I only watched a couple) are bouncing off the wall to carry speed through the second to last corner, I did at least manage to turn a contact-free lap for the prize which is good enough for me since I don't expect to get on the leaderboards :).

I had a similar thing in the Madrid race. I got the gold trophy, then did another lap which was only a silver. However, it gave me a new ranking on the screen, which it should only do for a fastest lap. When I left I was given rewards only up to silver, even though it said my best time was within the gold time, and the target time for a gold trophy was greyed out.

I found this much more irritating than I should (it's only a helmet) and I still feel cheated. Glad it didn't happen on the NASCAR seasonal though.

YEEEEEEEEEEES, I've been searching for months for the Sauber Mercedes, now its half price 👍
