New Sim Wheel from Steelseries

That's just it, I didn't. I was mocking the fact that you thought people were being discriminatory towards the disabled, which is frankly ridiculous that you drew that conclusion. Do you actually think that is what people were implying? C'mon for god sakes.

I quite clearly stated people were taking the piss out if the wheel, not the disabled.

Where did I say about taking the piss out of disabled? Nowhere.

I wasn't directly pointing at you but I did use your POS comment.

Lots of lemmings followed on rubbishing the wheel, where as I took a different view of it and could see some use for a small minority.

I've been accused of not showing a particular enthusiasm and joy on a product. ( not by you ).

I post up something different from the sheep and get slated.

It's a joke like this one

NO PLEASE!

I've been accused of not showing a particular enthusiasm and joy on a product. ( not by you ).

Let me correct you on that...

"Do you think you are showing much positivity about the upcoming reviews and some of the most exciting hardware products this year?"

That is NOT an accusation, it is a question directed to you because of your recent comments and attitude.
Well at least your attitude isn't just with me so nice to see you spread things around.

Come on let's just try to get on...

When tht RC type controller picture was brought forth I thought, now who would actually want that, and then the next post was someone saying they enjoyed the exact same one. There are lots of ways people choose to enjoy this hobby even if it doesn't fit the standard wheel on a hard surface, ffb, pedals, and shifters...etc. I hate when I have to take my xbox upstairs when my wifes friends hang out, can't move my sim rig upstairs so I have to use my wireless controller, which is fun for about 5 mins and then I end up watching tv or doing something else. I couldn't see spending this much on something for just that small percentage of times a situation like that would come up, but then again, I'm married, so there goes discretionary spending all together. Point is, lifes full of people who use things differently, don't criticize if you don't care for something you haven't tryed. Let people who want it figure out if its worth it to them or not. People who'd be interested in this won't buy it because they're tricked into thinking its something its not, they know it doesn't have FFB and pedals, but it sure would fit better in a carry on bag than a sim cockpit!

Edit: plus, its got a cool party game vibe to it. I think a chick would dig a guy who busted this "toy" out on a date and could still cuddle up on the couch together and play way more than the guy who's got a sim rig where his coffee table should be... I'm just sayin, I'm just sayin!

haha if you're busting out any kind of racing game/sim on a date I would say you better have a gearhead of a lady, OR the only thing you're going to be doing that night is racing alone after she gets pissed off and leaves!! haha

hmm im gonna be positive on this one as it looks beautiful. would have been promising if it was attached to a base with ffb. all it really needs is a mod, like a steering column shaft held by bearings and attached to its base at the back. but then, it might break the plastic casing. oh well...would be a nice project though.
