New track DLC every month?

Yes, that's what they said. And I hope they do it... They promised the Zahara de la Sierra track for this month's DLC.. but it looks like the month is gonna end soon and we get nothing. Where's update 2.05?? :ouch:

If we get Zahara, and if it's designed from roads that are going to be available (presumably at some point in the near future) as part of the Ronda Course Maker area, is it really DLC?

Well, I don't know really. I wish the track is for free. :)
 
It's still February, and PD didn't ACTUALLY say when their monthly DLC schedule would start… It looks like it would be this month, as they've claimed a new track is coming.

December DLC doesn't make sense, since that would be borderline day-1 DLC. January is controversial, but in this day and age, it would seem like the second-ish month would be filled with fixes for unforeseen bugs and glitches that snuck in through the launch. It just seems weird releasing new content so early in a game's life.

As for missing content, I don't know why we don't have it. I thought we'd have community features by now, and I'm amazed at how many bugs are present in the game as of now. GT6 really doesn't seem very well supported, even with the excuses for DLC I made.
 
What makes me mad is it's like PD has gone dark. No word about anything. Did they take our money and then close up shop? Makes you wonder. Before the game came out they were all over the place talking about it. Now, nothing at all. Seasonal Events have seems to die off as well.

PD did take our money and then we found out we did not get a full game on release day shame on PD for doing that.

They haven't gone dark, they were that to begin with. Only problem is that they promise so much and deliver so little.
 
Coursemaker: "This feature, available at a later stage through an update, will allow you to create your own custom tracks that can be driven in the game. Additionally, in another update we will add the possibility to generate a track by capturing the GPS coordinate data of a mobile app while you are driving that course. This GPS-generated tracks will be available in the game as playable content."

These are not my words...wish we would get some more words...like a date for release of the DLC! How 'bout it, Kaz...

They don't seem to have been doing much in the past 3 years so nothing new there.

They really are getting very close to downright incompetent!

That's what I wanted, although reading it word for word this sounds like it's more web based rather than in game when they mention organise in the forums and create race events form members. Ha, we already have that now
 
If I know PD they went over budget on GT6 already and the slow sales has caused them to go dark. Now Kaz can't afford to pay translator-san to bring us any news or afford to race his GTR's all over the globe. Such a sad fate. We should all pitch in and send them some more money.:lol:
 
its no longer feb (the month we were suppose to get the new track) and still no track.. no track editor,no social features,plus only updates that destroy the game...for example, traction control turns on when off track,even while still on tarmac,dirt slows you down just as much as the sand pits,ect.. i have been a huge fan of gt since the original gt was released.. but it seems they are gradually getting worse... if this track isn't released by monday i can officially say i am DONE with gt. this game would be better being used as a frisbee. i doubt it would be so, goodbye gt,goodbye g27, and goodbye cockpit with my 3 monitor setup. i'm tired of all these empty promises... as for everyone else that will continue playing,i wish you guys the best of luck,and enjoy it while you can before pd pushes everyone else over the edge..

I am waiting until Wednesday and if there is no update by then well I am done with this game and I am going back to GT5 to have some fun.

im currently in milwaukee,wi at the moment... i travel back and forth alot

i love that pic btw... when i saw that in real life i was kinda dumbfounded
 
I completely forgot about the whole "monthly DLC" thing. PD is as bad about information regarding GT6 as 4J Studios is with the PS3 version of Minecraft!

Nope. None. :sick:. So the next update gives us 4 new tracks since its 4 month already?

They talk a lot before game release to make us buy the game. Promising stuff thats reeeeally cool. Than we get an unfinished beta-version of GT7. And PD rests in silence... The game isn´t bad. I do like it... but f:censored: son of a b:censored: I want my promised content. I don´t care when it comes. But at least tell us it is coming at ALL and may be WHEN!

Also, fixing bugs that influence gameplay online and offline is also CONTENT for me. So fix that PD. Make GT6 a full game. And don´t release GT7 at x-mas 2014 looking like GT6 with the missing content. I will sue back my 70 bucks from you.... and buy GT7 from it. :odd:

But is it, really? I mean, the fans never set those very expectations or were babbling on about ''large scale of downloadable content'' and ''at least one additional track per month''. Even though most of us - on this site - knew that PD wouldn't be able to meet those set targets, I can understand those who are let down by them not delivering regarding mentioned things.

Same goes for the ''future updates''.

I wasn't blaming it on the customers. Was just saying that PD is all talk, but no action. That was what my post was based on. :P
