DLC? Features we were promised? The Japanese *earthquake* only affected GT5's progress briefly. No, in my opinion something is very wrong here.

I agree on that. Or PD is aiming something big (not big, huge) for soon (possibly something to convince people to play GT6 after GT5 shuts down) or the developement finds himself in a completly pandemonium.

It´s so weird that even the Sessional Events are comming less than GT5 Sessionals on its erly months.
 
If pd would have been honest most of us wouldnt have bought gt6. Just imagine they would have said gt6 comes to ps3 but wont get much support because we are already working on gt7. I think maybe inside pd some people work for the gt series with passion and heart and are disappointed about the way gt6 came out and developes. So all powers are gathered now for gt7 to be what people always loved about gt - a blast, and not a disappointment.
 
What's the point in selling it? Rather comes across as spitting the dummy out. Sure, we're all pee'd off that PD have turned out to be a bunch of pig ignorant liars but is their any point to selling it? They retail for £20 now so you wont get much more than a fiver anyway!

Mmm true but IF the updates ever come (in 2 years at this rate) they will re-release it as GT6: The game it was meant to be"

Yep probably but now I think due to this nobody is going to buy GT7 because it's not fair and we have to remember this !!!
 
Rapidly feeling that my decision to pre-order GT6 was a terrible mistake - as it stands with content and broken promises I would have been happier staying on GT5 until the next generation makes its mark, or even waiting for a bargain bin version of 6. Very disappointed in 6 and feel that, even with much improved physics and UI, it is only half the game that GT5 was in its latter stages of development.

Of course , I come from The Forza Franchise and after my experience on GT6 I will never buy another GT or Podi games.

I know I won't be buying GT7 at day 1, not again after GT6. I feel so fooled to even think GT6 was going to be better than GT5. If money is Kaz's attention, so be it. Man, everything I said about pCARS, I take all of it back. At least that game is looking more promising.

Totally agree Pcars look awesome but I'm drifting and it seems Pcars is not for drifting ;( !!!

Yeah. I'm still kinda worry it may have Shift physics for consoles. lol. I wonder how FM5 is doing, because my sis wants a XB1 and I'm thinking getting that game along with FH2.

Same here, been loyal and bought every major release on day one, a customer of 15 years but not any more. Never known such a shambles of a game and it's made worse by the fact that they keep updating GT5 every week with new seasonal races , something we have yet to even get in GT6! I've never owned an Xbox or cared to even watch a clip of Forza but it is getting more tempting. At least they seem to update their game!

If you have a Xbox 360, I recommend you get FM4. So much content and 'fun' that never ends. Not sure about FM5, haven't got it yet. :P
 
This thread is making no sense right now... Just the fact that some guy, that nobody knows who he is , posts some information about the game supposedly being left in order to PD start working on GT7, makes everyone upset, is just stupid...
I will use this exemple to show the amount of stupidity going on... So someone creates a twitter account with the name Barack Obama (fake account) and tweets that the US will attack Russia or China with nuclear missiles. And as a result, Russia/China start a war against US because of that tweet/false statement made by some anonymous person.
Now using this example to compare to what's happening on this thread and then tell me something.

Same boat as you.

Only thing stopping me from making the plunge, is that its Literally the only reason ide purchase an xbone at this point. Is for forza5.

One thing is definitive, ill never purchase another GT Product on day one again, or even month one.. im going too wait atleast 6 months and see what the state of the game is before making any sort of decision on buying.

*edit* Which is sad to say because ive been in the "HURRY UP AND TAKE MY MONEY PD" crowd since the first day I played GT1 many moons ago.

Honestly I think everyone needs to take a pause. The post that has changed the course of this thread was a post on another forum, mentioned is by someone without a thread of legitimacy.

Yes, we have been screwed over, especially those of us who pre-orderd the game. Obviously with the GT5 updates coming regularly, it is fair to feel jobbed because the new title should have the regular updates.

But we paid our money, let's wait a bit before we panic, and once you have realized you want to move on, do so, and do not buy GT7, no matter what is advertised. That is how we should react.

Eventually I will have other games that I want to play and slowly GT6 will move to the back of the shelf, so if nothing comes of substance in the next few weeks then I will move on and play some of the other games I have. In addition, with spring and summer around the corner, my game playing will fall off dramatically.

If I purchase a PS4, I just won't purchase another title from this franchise, which I have been with since the very first title.

No, I get what you're saying. Don't believe some random post on the internet, especially without any source. And I feel the same way.
But your anology doesn't quite fit. There was talk that GT6 might be abandoned for GT7 long before that Gamefaqs post, and understandably so. Take that post as another sign, if you want.
Whereas nobody in their right mind would believe the 'Obama tweet' threatening Russia or China with nuclear weappons.
