New window shows I'm logged out.

I've noticed in the GT4 FAQ thread, when you click on my PAL GT4 Prize Car List, the window that opens shows that I'm logged out and lots of adds pop up. It seems my FAQ is the only one that does it.

Nope, this happens to me on occasion as well. It seems that some links (out of the 1000's) on this site) skip leaving a cookie and that window opens as if I'm logged out.

INteresting phenomenon, and I'm not sure where Jordan'd start looking to find the problem. If people encounter this in other places as well as verify what G.T and I have run into, please log it here.

That way Jordan can get an idea as to where that disfunction happens.

Yeah I get that sometimes when someone posts a GTP link.

Could it have anything to do with having GTP set to remember you from that computer or not?

I have it set to remember me and have never seen this problem.

No thats not the problem, I have it set to remember me so I never have to login but sometimes rarely it still happens.

This happens to me on occasion. (Randomly.) A page will show up as me being logged out, but I'll still be logged in to the rest of the site.

I've experienced this problem as well. It happens to me, roughly once a month, but never twice. I can't really find any way to explain or investigate this problem, but it's likely something to do with vB. There are no other sites which I browse "logged in" as much as GTP, so it would be unfair to say that I've experienced similar cookie errors on other sites.

Yep, they do it to me.

Ah...they don't work for me, either. However, those links don't include the "www." in front of the domain name. I'll see if I can alter vB's cookie settings so that the www. doesn't have an effect.

I think it has to do with the www, I get this occasionally too when I click on links to GTP.
