Aha, yes.
Baja Bugs were actually built by VW owners from production VW bodyshells. jsut goes to show the versatility of the VW platform. again, I'm not into desert racing (no desert ANYWHERE nearby) so I'd want a car that can handle. Fiberglass wide fenders, suspension kit, little kick-up "whale tail" with oil cooler inside...
