👍
First, Sony would need to support Latin America. They think we live in some shack in the wild eating bananas and stuff? I'm personally tired of having a US account just to be able to buy DLC and stuff, or getting kicked out of Latin American or European rooms when they see the US flag in my PSN ID
Funny thing about the South American countries is that first of all i was born in Uruguay...i had a PS there and a Gran Turismo copy (with other amazing games) and we are fanatics of the series there (my friends of course too). (i´m 27 now)
AND in about 2 years the entire country will have optical fiber network (internet) at the level of Sweden and Norway. (if you know about standard living in those countries, you know what i am talking about- not even saying that my country is just like that haha but not that bad as you believe, take a look at Punta del Este)
My country has a low market because of population which is 3.5 million. And that is the main problem.
Other funny fact is that i am living in Spain (7 years by now) and network here sucks! lol
I have only a 10MB DSL network. Optical fiber only works for Barcelona and main cities and i live in front of the beach and here i can´t have that service. 1st world country huh! lol again.
The thing is that for not paying attention to this they are loosing some market that could be bigger than they think. Just having in consideration Brazil (just above my country) which is huge and a growing economy and i found this:
"Brazil is the sixth most populous country in the world after China, India, the United States, Indonesia and the Russian Federation. Its poulation is approximately 185 million, and is predominantly young: 62% of Brazilians are under 29 years of age."
And i know people from there and they play games as Battlefield and they are at the top of the leaderboards on tons of games. EA has servers in Brazil for South America. (i lived in Sao Paulo 3 years too, yes close to the F1 circuit 'Interlagos')
Huge mistake for not paying that much attention not only to South America, i can say the rest of Europe too who can´t participate and the rest of the world.
Sorry for off topic guys but i understand him.
