The losing streak is O-VAH! Texans never looked back and never tied the Seattle Seahawks. We won 34-7. Up next:

* 12/20/2009 - at St. Louis
* 12/27/2009 - at Miami
* 1/3/2010 - New England

And if it means anything, the sun is shining here in Houston as we've been putting the hurt on the Seahawks. Kind of like the feel when Danica Patrick won her first race. We have a chance at 9-7 and an extremely outside chance of making the playoffs. But to do that, we have to handle our business in St. Louis, down in the MIA, then at home with the Pats.

In other action, the Saints are STILL unbeaten, and the Ravens whitewashed the Lions in Baltimore.

Colts still undefeated also, finished off Denver to the tune of 28-16. 👍 Looks like another good year for me. :D

Cheers
Jetboy

Cardinals at 49ers tonight! Who gets the win- Niners or Cards? I got Arizona in this one.

Dude the Texans have as much chance or less than my Jets ; slim and none

Boy, do I feel dumb... the Cardinals failed in beautiful fashion- five fumbles to lose 24-9 at San Francisco.

SF has become one of those teams that doesn't win consistently but can beat anyone on a given week. They're not good enough to be good, but they are good enough to be dangerous to the rest of the league.

The problem with SF is that they couldn't put a game to rest... They always seem to give up a TD at the last second... The game against Minnesota is a perfect example... That on top of Singletary not realizing the team is better in the shotgun...

Now time for me to permanently leave this thread with the little football knowledge that I still have.

Next year they will be better.

That's because their QB is inconsistent and they need safety help. If SF gets Earl Thomas in the draft, watch out.

Also, I can't believe what a bust Matt Leinart is. That guy has the best supporting cast in football and he still can't produce.

I'd like to know what's wrong with these crazy bitches killing all these NFL players.

Kinda sucks for Chris Henry since he was turning his life around.

Sounds more like she was trying to leave and he was trying to stop her by jumping in the back.

While it is sad, he kind of brought it onto himself.

Yeah, lol. Lesson learned: Do not jump into the back of a truck and bang on the rear window with a crazy emotional woman driving.

I think that's the only NFL player killed by their wife.
Out of all these players only one player was actually an impact player.
With Sean Taylor it was the gunshot of the burgular.:guilty:
I can't remember but a Jets CB it was a drive-by shooting.
With Richard Collier it was a drive-by also.(Still lives paralyzed from neck down)
Now Chris Henry dies from getting killed by wife allegedly.:scared:
What's next?!:rolleyes:

It wasn't his wife, it was his fiancee. I also don't think she will get more than a manslaughter charge as it sounds like she was trying to get away from him.

Steve McNair: Killed by a crazy wench.
Chris Chambers: Almost killed by a crazy wench (thus the KC move and huge improvement in play).

Blue and gold are my official colors, but my Texans just beat a blue and gold team- the Texans won 16-13 at St. Louis. Believe it or not, it's the Texans' first-ever win at a dome. Most of the dome losses at a team called the Indianapolis Colts. We played very poorly, but still managed to win. Sorry, FoolKiller...

But next week, at Omnis' Dolphins.

[UPDATE] It's the first dome win for the Texans under Gary Kubiak, I mean.

FUUUUUUUUUUUU! Man, I didn't need this game. It's not healthy to root for the Dolphins.

Henne :(

I guess our only hope now is for the Pats to lose the rest of their games. We would still have to win out.

Just got to watch 3 Cutlerceptions in person. Fun game to attend, though - great atmosphere. Next week is probably the biggest game of the season.

Cutlerceptions.. perfect!

Poor Chicago. They got suckered!

I'd be mad as hell if Tennessee ends up making the playoffs ever since starting Vince Young (though it's been their cure-all). A lot of teams will have to screw up for others to have a chance.

Having said this, Texans at Jaguars will be a key match for me. A LOT of teams will have to screw up big. As an racing analogy, this is like being down in a race by 2 or 5 seconds, and you need the leaders to slip up or spin out to have a chance to win in the dying moments of the race. That's what it's like for my Texans to have any hope. We're not making the playoffs, but playing like there's still hope makes me happy inside because it shows we're ready to emerge, and that the players WANT this.

This upcoming week should be VERY interesting...

Great quote and I think the same thing about my Giants. Last week was the nail in the coffin with the loss to Philly. But play like you are hungry week in and week out 👍
