I'm smiling, but I'm sure Omnis is pissed. Texans won 27-20. I really thought we could have played much better in the 2nd Half. Miami's been eliminated, as is Jacksonville. Omnis, your Dolphins have nothing to really be ashamed of. Ted Ginn Jr. is awesome. We basically survived as we were ahead 27-3 at the half.

Also, Baltimore lost 23-20 at Pittsburgh, helping the Texans' slim playoff hopes. Only other big game is going on now- Denver at Philadelphia.

1st half was a disaster. Poor Fins. I still can't believe we can't beat you guys. Anyway, I hope we lose out to get draft position and I wish your Texans the best in the playoffs. I sympathize with expansion teams.

It's that time of the year where you wonder how the top 2 teams in the NFC got there.:yuck:

Hopefully my Vikes can snap there primetime losing streak.

Man, the audio in the new Colts stadium is so cool. You can really hear the pre-snap chatter unlike any other place. And their stadium is so quiet on offense and totally lights up on Defense. It's really cool.

My Jets actually win a game they need to win. Usually when Jets catch a break by having the teams in front of them lose they lose too. I know Manning didn't play the whole game but they did what they needed to do. :) And to make things even better the Fins lost !

At least if you get in you'll be up against the Pats.

We might play the Bengals again . But if we play the Pats again that's cool we can beat them.

From a lot of the playoff scenarios, here's what it boils down to for my Texans to have ANY hope:

(from: Yahoo! Sports)
(8-7) – Currently 8th in AFC because of better record than Pittsburgh in common games (3-1 to 1-3). Would clinch No. 5 seed with win and New York loss and Baltimore loss and Denver loss. Would clinch No. 6 seed with win and losses by two of the following: New York, Baltimore, Denver. Eliminated with loss or wins by at least two of the following: New York, Baltimore, Denver.

Next week is do-or-die. Tonight, however... Vikings at Bears tonight! The regular season finale of Monday Night Football! Who wins in Chi-Town tonight?

I think Da Bears have given up so I choose the Vikings

Wait, I thought they just sucked?

Funny how they traded for Cutler yet the QB they traded away could be in the playoffs.

I don't think I need to say who I think will win.

So, you're the one who's responsible for this first half performance. :sly:

No more bulletin board material for the Bears. :dopey:

Holy crap, this game is getting good.. Fumble and recovery by Bears in overtime? Wow.

Edit: Holy fricken outcome. Bears take it, 36-30 in OT. Phenominal.

Wild finish. Cutler actually looked like a legitimate QB. Jared Allen didn't do much of anything, did he?

Fixed it more increased accuracy. The only reason we came back is because they subbed some rookies in during the second half.

Pro-Bowl selections are in. This is a ****ing travesty that Lousaka Polite didn't get in. LeRon McClain is bogus. Polite is the most elite blocker in the entire NFL... dude deserves to get in, man, this is a disservice to the game and an insult to a great player.

Texans will send DeMeco Ryans, Brian Cushing, Mario Williams, and Miami's own Andre Johnson to the Pro Bowl. Jacoby Jones, Matt Schaub, and Vonta Leach are all alternatives. It's the most Texans we're sending to the Pro Bowl in team history.

Still for my boys... HOU must beat NE, and no more than one of (DEN, BAL, NYJ) win their games for my Texans to make the playoffs. But as I mentioned before, even if we win out and DON'T make the playoffs, I still love to see the Texans play hard like they have a chance. It's not likely we'll make it, but man... wouldn't it be awesome if you're a Texans fan? You go from "fire Kubiak!" to "just sneaking in." And in light of the tanking at home with Indianapolis benching Peyton Manning, many Texans fans would hate to see Tom Brady and/or Randy Moss get benched if we do beat them on Sunday. Probably because my Texans fans want to see the Texans beat the Patriots WITH Brady and Moss starting. And the interesting thing is, all the other games from teams we need to have lose happen after ours. So if we win, we need at least two of the three teams we're chasing to lose. If (for example) only Baltimore wins and if we beat NE, we're in. But if (for example) Denver and Baltimore win after we beat NE, we're done. If all three teams (including Pittsburgh) lose and we win, we're in.

To all of you who still have playoff hopes for your teams or if they made the playoffs, enjoy this weekend of NFL football!

Well I'm hoping the fins lose tomorrow. We need McClain or Hughes in the 1st. Badly. And if by some miracle Eric Berry drops, then we absolutely must get him.

Can you believe the fins have the 2nd highest payroll in the league? I'm praying we have an uncapped year so it can be bye-bye Wilson. And maybe we'll say farewell to Porter if we pick up Jerry Hughes.

Where did these Vikings come from.:D

I should also add that every Vikings fan is also a Cowboy's fan today.

Yeah, it was only a matter of time before Pat White went and killed himself. Poor kid. Lesson to all 100-pound QBs: Do not lower the shoulder on the sideline. Run out of bounds, dude. But at least we now get to see Thigpen who I think is a better QB.

Texans achieved their first-ever winning season, beating New England 34-27! Now we need some help from Oakland, Kansas City, and Cincinnati to (respectively) beat Baltimore, Denver, and New York Jets. If at least two teams lose, we're in on a wing and a prayer.

Anybody wanna guess who is going to represent the NFC in the Superbowl? New Orleans is still probably the front runner, but they have 0 momentum after their 3rd loss in a row, the rest of the division is just inconsistent.

Edit: Congrats to Houston(My AFC team).

And... Miami is done. First pass from MIA after the PIT field goal... picked off. The Miami Dolphins are done.

Baltimore at Oakland is coming up along with Kansas City at Denver.

Thanks to Dallas we have a bye week.👍

Next week there will be a very similar week for NFC playoffs.
Philadelphia Vs. Dallas
Arizona Vs. Green Bay

(both are re-matches of this week)
