Sorry guys, I won't be able to make it again this week, family business to sort out. Hopefully will finally make it nest week.
 
anyone out there fancy some practice tonight on brands hatch and glendale west send me a message on playstation network.
I need all the practice i can get 2 days ago i got colin mcrea dirt 2 and havent been able to prise my self off it :scared:
 
I'm coming on in a tic Hog, I'll do a few practice laps (although I don't know either of them two tracks)

Also Manny, in the excel sheet thing, you wrote my PS3 name as Jamie-C2311, theres no - ;)

No, you don't have to unless you feel like it. It's really just a column I can use in Excel to re-order the member names column. I have 6 on all my cars anyway, so I made my driver number 6. :D

It is an epic game! Have you tried it with the wheel yet? It is really enjoyable with a wheel! :)

Ow yea i would not play it with out the wheel its a amazing game i am just getting into it at the moment but i love the tight twisty sections and the demand for quick reactions i hope in the next one they make the game more intense with the steering wheel in the as you really get a rush playing it sometimes.

Sorry for ducking out so sudden i had an important call at my door, and yea you really need a quicker car:lol::lol: all my favorite cars are rated 14 and the best ones i can think of off the top of my head are:

Nissan skyline R35 spec v
Audi r8 with T12 tune
Audi rs4
Nissan r34
and that's all i can think of at the moment.

the best one by far i have found is the lambo, only use certain mods to make it a 13.something car and then put T12'S tune into the settings it will make it beast if you use the correct combination of upgrades.
Up till now i found the Audi r8 the best handler but lags in power, but then i found the lambo its drifty but has loads of power to power slide the corners in my opinion its the best 14 rated car on the game once you get used to it.

Agree i use the Gallardo at level 14 and it is amongst the fastest at this level :)
 
Guys,despite being looking forward this weekend competition-it's going to be tight as hell i can tell you that from the pratice sessions i did with NITROVIOUS and also with Mr.B and Manny(altought in this one the servers from EA made their trick on me as always(i really advice the hosts and everyone who can to hardwire your ps3 into your modem or else some of you might not finish the endurance race at the ring) everybody is driving very fast and steady and a small mistake may decide your position in the race...👍-two of my favourite tracks are being featured and gleandale west is also a very challenging track-nice selection Manny-i completly forgot my girlfriend friend's birthday...why where that:drool: and my dinner compromise for tonight(20.30 local time) i'll never get home on time(10 local) to join in even if you ride the ring on bikes:D.
So i guess that leaves me only to wish all competitors good luck :cheers:
Nice clean races and above all a good time(should EA servers allow you that-light up a candle) and ...count me in for next one...:)

I undrstand. You've gotta have priorities... :D The HOG actually picked this weeks' tracks, and I agree, it's a very challenging mix.

I think one of the reasons I and some others had connection problems last night was because when I was hosting, my son was playing Modern Warfare 2 online at the same time. I don't think my router could keep up. :ouch:

A question for you guys...

After an online race I now know that you hit L1 before you get back to the lobby, to see the Race Finishing Order. That screen also shows the total race time for each driver, etc.

BUT
Does anyone know how to bring up the best Lap Times from each driver?

Brand new, all shiny and factory smell Coke Zero Dodge Viper SRT10 car rating 13.00. Can i used in third race at Glendale West ??

When using one, can you only hear the chat in your ear, without all of the car noises? Also, when using one, does the chat only go in your ear, without being able to hear it from the tv?

I don't think so darkos. I wish we could use the reward cars online. I'd love to use the DBR9 or the Audi LMS cars, but they don't seem to be available for online racing :(

Yes, in your ear you only hear the voices (unless someone has their TV up too loud. Then you can hear the car engine in the background)

Ahh right, ok. I'm hopefully going to get one soon, it would make life much easier in the lobby, in race apoligies and on Call of Duty tather than typing furiously in the short time available :P
 
I think you can use Reward cars in online races.

When you choosing car for the race just HIT R1 and that's it :sly:

Really? What kind of lobby do you have to be in? (Manufacturer, Mixed Race?) I never could find any of the reward cars. :confused:
 
Ok so if you hosting a race and chose Mixed Race, when you go to Car Select just hit R1 button. The same way if someone else is hosting the race in Mixed Race.

But when Manufacture option is selected then you are forced to use the same car as every one else. Only extra cars available is from Loaner Cars.
