I just went onto The Rumble Strip and saw that you can now buy/sell used items to other GTP members. I have to say that is something I never would have thought of.

Yes, Pako brought up the idea in the Moderator's Forum, and after some discussion I decided that it would bring a lot to the site. It's a great way for members to trade with each other and avoid any kinds of fees associated with sites like eBay. I'm looking forward to using it a lot myself. :)
 
You have to pay the fee of GTPremium ;)

Nah, I don't care bout buying GTPremium, great addition, if all goes well, I could bag myself £55 soon :)
 
This is true, but there no fees associated with posting items up for sale. You can post as many as you like without incurring any additional costs.

I love the idea, though. I think we're more likely to trust each other (especially Premium members, who we all know are very involved at GTP) than the crazy people on eBay or Craig's List. 👍
 
I also did not know about this. Hmm what can I sell?? Mabey members can post stuff they "want" too. Basically wanted adds for something.
Just noticed "GT premium members" are the only ones that can start a new thread. That makes it even better.
 
Jordan this rocks hard. Jusy wanna ask why normal members cant sell. I gotta sell my PS1 because the money that they offer me here is almost worthless to sell.

:lol: Not really...actually it came up in a discussion with MistaX and what to do with his old car that was just parts now....

I just happened to have a bunch of bass gear I was unloading. Will have bunch of games and other Spring Cleaning stuff to post as well. :)

If you read the sticky that Jordan provided in that forum, you can included a [WTB] in the thread title signifying that you "Want To Buy" something. :)

Just thought I'd point that out.
 
I will be keeping an eye on that section for sure. I even have paypal so if I see something I like I could buy it that day. Now start selling your xbox360 and 360 games for cheap for me. :sly:
Otherwise I will be buying it all by July 29th.

I noticed that you can even post a link to your eBay auction. That is a interesting way to advertise your eBay auction. 👍 I've never joined the Premium, because I don't like how my username gets lit up in red, but this sure is a nice feature. I might be switching to Premium in the near future. :)

I just noticed it, and I think its great! Could you add another clause to the rules in the first thread too. It's nothing too serious, but maybe it would be good if you could differentiate between which country or contintent that the product is from. Something like US, UK, EU, etc. in the thread title. I'd be more willing to buy something that was closer to home. Great idea Jordan, I think I may use it myself one time. 👍
 
It's a great addition. I can't believe I just found it then considering I've been trying to sell my old Drumkit for weeks now. Great idea Jordan.
