Oh okay, sorry about that then.
Oh yeah, I got somethin for ya when I get back. You'll like it. Lets just say that every Trueno needs one.
Oh and I just got back from drifting over at Nago circuit, then we hit the mountain areas. Oh that was so much fun, I finally got to put my S13 through the gauntlet before selling it. I had no idea that S13s slid so well IRL. Oh man, I want one back in the states so bad now. I can't wait until I get there. Yeah, I'm like soooo good at drifting with this car, me and Terry held a drift that lasted for at least 100m and it wasn't any shallow curve it was a nice gradual one (increases in depth as it curves).
Then we hit this bridge and oh man, talk about fun, it had some water on it so we all hit it hard and went sliding almost totally out of control but it was SOOOO COOL because we all regained it and slid like 6 abreast.
Oh OH OHHHH! and then we hit the mountains. LOL! Let me tell you, there wa this hot as 24 year old drifter chick, she drove a blue 180 and man let me TELL YOU! She was good, she made a lot of us look bad. Her and I went out there tandem through the togues and then we went over to Cocos for some curry and a drink. LOL! Shes cool but I have to leave her here.
After that we headed back to the mountains for some extreme sideways action.
There was this freakin EVO 8 that was pullin angles so HOT that I thought I was watching at GT3 replay and then one of my boys took his girlfriends Suzuki Kei (FF) and slid it around this turn, and IMO, FF drifting looks pretty tight in real life.
The only downer about tonight was that it was SOOOO COLD. Not like NY cold but it was cold enough to want to stay in your car all the time.
We toughed it out though. We went up and down those mountains for hours and hours. WOOO!
Then we decided to call it a night and leave our Japanese friends behind because we all have to work in the morning. We totally killed it on the way back though. Theres this intersection over by Camp Kinser and the cops are usually there waiting for us, but for some reason they weren't there tonight so we slid there for a while. Most of us took drifts that were so extreme that we totally lost it before even making it across the first lane. LMAO!!! That's like 10 feet!!!
I lost a good drift because the guy in front of me chickened out after we held this LOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG drift. But no excuses, I gummed up too so it's no big deal. He apologized for it and then we both went back on our way.
After the Kinser intersections we took the long way home drifting up and down Naha and all the way to Ishikawa and Nago, we found these drifters doing donuts in some huge parking lot over by my boy's house so we joined in on the fun. That S13 has some tight donut control to have stock suspension.
After the donut and burnout sessions. We broke lose and headed back towards base pullin on each other and street racing like it was legal.
We reached base and one of my dumbass buddies pulls this insane move:
He gets ready to turn left to get into the gate, quickly snaps his S14 back to the right, does a donut and then speeds off. Those of us who didn't enter the base yet turned around and followed him. I had to drive all the way around the security hut at the gate in order to follow them.
All we wound up doing was cutting in and out of traffic for about a mile or two then we drifted this narrow ass street for a good 200 or 300 meters and for a total of about 4 turns.
After that we finally headed back to base and went over to this one guys barracks, sat back and shared some beers.
A really good night over all.
Just thouht I'd share that.
