Initial D music (eurobeat) is indeed queer.

I would suggest some:
Metal:
Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, Otep, Fear Factory
Hip Hop: Living Legends, Eligh, The Grouch, Swollen Members, Ludacris, Wu-Tang

;)

Well, you did put the wrong clips in then, because you did not link those in the vid. I do not miss things like that, when it comes to drifting. I've been doing it too long, and I've seen so too many video's to miss something that obvious. Furthermore, you missed a lot of link opportunities in the vid, not just those turns. That's just the only ones that I knew the turn #'s for. I hope your revised version fixes these things, becaue if it does it will be a very good vid. ;)

make it full screen and pay attention to the throttle and steering wheel, u'll see I never gain full traction, so it IS linked.

You guys know any FR cars that can link that big tokyo drift? I barely did it with a supra.. but that felt like cheating.. 1000+ hp and all...

Boo horsepower!
Yay Slayer!

However, in my little video, I'm using a track called Flying Birds by RZA from Wu-Tang. It's in the intro to a movie called Ghost Dog.

Sorry man, but you did not link all those turns in the vid. I watched the vid a few times, and you did not link them, as well as other places you could have linked. I don't expect you to be able to link everything, I'm just trying to let you know where the link possibilities are. ;)

What turns are you taklking about? Here's a track map, so you can diagram it:

I can drift the Corner 4 the Big Ol' Semi-circle U-bend but i dont remember about the corner your talking about. I dont drift tokyo much, i should do though.

Also "Boss", could you update my action pics with the ones i sent to you in that email?

I've been trying to recall which corner that is exactly, also.
R246 is slicker than most tracks too, probably because it's a public road.
I'll check it out.

hey don't copy me with the boss thing j/k

Everybody likes Midfield, Apricot, and Tokyo and when they talk about them I'm always like "wtf, those tracks suck...".
Nobody likes the really good tracks like Grand Valley, SS11, and Cote d' Azur. They always have some stupid excuse like "it's too long", or "there's too many turns". Just stupid in my opinion, and I see it all the time.

There's no real difference, dude.
Grand Valley and Monaco simply have a lower Boring Straight to Fun Corner ratio than Midfield and Apricot hill.
Solve problems as they are presented to you.
Try to replay the ideal path in your brain while on the real life passes and you end up as part of a mangled mass of steel and fire.

If you could see it from inside the car, you could see it, you just cant see the angle cuz of the camera, trust me, its there. If you dont believe me, you'll see if I can ever get a vid longer than 13 seconds. When/if i get to hang out with SD and he lets me use his setup, I'll get you a vid of me doing it.

As for the rest of them, feel free to tell me which ones and I'll go link them.

I'm gonna be totally honost here and say I don't like you too much. That explination was ****ing stupid.

I dont like apricot or midfield.. i dont like that ss stage you mentioned though because it doesnt suit the sort of car set ups i like.. my entry speed is too low after the second link corner since i use a stock set up.. the rain ss stage is godlike though and grand valley rocks.. so does trial mountain and deep forest (but i like those for the scenery).. and the ss stage 2 is alot of fun bcuz you get that big corner right at the start.. ahh so awesome.

I don't like monkeys. So I guess we're even.
I wasn't really asking your opinion either.

I was simply stating my perception of driving and how I feel that repeating the same thing over and over again isn't necessarily the best way to overcome it.

Try to think of things in a general sense as possible.

That's where the art comes in.

I think this track discussion is retarded. I like a lot of tracks, including Midfield, and Apricot Hill. I have been working on linking the whole track (Midfield, Apricot Hill, Seattle). I think that all the tracks are good, and can be very fun. I have found some great links on R246 II, that I have never seen in a vid. When it comes down to it, there are plenty of link possibilities that people haven't noticed. Furthermore, I have to admit that I don't particularly like Monaco. I just don't have as much fun, and the drifts just are never very impressive IMHO. However, I do think it takes a lot of skill to drift Monaco, well. I just don't enjoy it as much as other tracks.;)

I sure can, but it might take a while. If I can get to my computer tonight then, you'll have it up shortly but if not. Then it'll take about 4 or 5 days. But I haven't forgotten about you. I remember about all of my teammates.

OKAY

ALL PROFILES HAVE BEEN UPDATED.

Exept for Drifter 7's (that's almost funny)

Seriously though, I just need a lil bit more info from ya bro before I can hook you up. Remember you'll be the last D1 member anyone who joins after you will just be a regular member. I'm counting on you, Drifter 7, to carry out the title of D1 Member to it's fullest and represent NMD to the fullest.

Holla

Just viewed both of your sites, Shadow.

Here's some things I picked up:
1. Your exactly 4 days older than me.
2. You really screwed over those 4 cars on bad drift day.
3. Your name titles are hard to read and outdated, try a newer program, like Photoshop to make them. It gives them a better appeal to onlookers.
4. Other than that, take it easy in Japan. I'm jealous. :D

Ahp well, it seems we can't gain numbers for losing them. Street Fighter decided to call it quits so I guess we're back to recruiting for our spots to fill in the D1 membership slot.

New D1 Member Recap

Well Guess it's down to nine again. Oh well, NMD will go on. It kinda sucks yeah, but at the same time, if they're not ready to be in a team, they're just not ready. Oh well.

Well

1. That's cool, I'm glad to see that I'm finally older than someone:lol:
2. I didn't do anything, if you recall, my students and I are the only ones that drove home that night. It was the drifters that chose not to heed my warnings or take any lessons from me that perished. Wow that's one way to put it.
3. I'm sorry. I'm not really to heavy in to graphic arts, I mean, I venture, but I'm a video/programmer kinda guy. Throw Borland in front of me, I'll be entertained for a year, throw Photoshop in front of me, I'll probably ask you to take it back and go purchase Borland.  I also have, other computer skills that I would rather not talk about over the forum.
4. Don't be, I want to go back to the states. Oh Trust me, it's been fun and all, but I'm so used to RHD cars that it drives me crazy. Just they other day I caught myself calling japanese cars domestics.:odd:  :banghead:
