It would be nice if they had a new and improved gtr sample for it

Yeah would be cool to see it launched in game again but that won't come in GT6 as next years GTR is still a R35. So at least another full year or so until they show the Hybrid R36. You will see the GTR NISMO LM car first next year and thats something that would be nice to have in game like the recently added toyota

So I would expect the R36 as a GT7 car

I meant sound sample lol

i guess springs will have the same values as all other GTR 3times more harder at the front than the rear ...

It still uses the same basic bilstein suspension the regular car does except it has NISMO spec spring rates that are roughly twice as stiff so let's see how that translates.

Down force is enhanced as they quote an extra 220lbs at 186 mph over the standard car

I will honestly be happy if it handles much like the SpecV in game as that is most predictable and balanced R35 in the game and in a lot of ways the NISMO shares a lot with it

What I don't want is a drastic change as I know its a totally different car but I thought the 2020 car handles pretty bad as in the worst of both worlds. It feels like a rwd and you have to wait to put power down or it gets loose then at the same time it understeers at the drop of a dime

Or even almost worse the 24hr blue GTR that thing was a handful too. But that was more braking I think as the rear would want to come around on high speed stops

:odd:

And maybe we'll get that car too in GT like we did with the ZR-1 and Spec V back in the day (I feel old now)
Well remember, when Chevy was unveiling the C7 last year, PD and Chevy struck up that deal and we got the covered prototype of the car in GT5 as well as the full prototype once it was unveiled, and the covered car is in GT6 now too. I think we'll for sure see the Z06 at some point :D

I hope so. Probably sooner than later.

from my owners manual. it sounds like it is for recording GPS data not just on a track. maybe its meant to work with the GT6 GPS course maker ( if that ever happens) or since the hardware is in place this could be used in GT7 features down the road

it just seems odd that this would always be limited to in game GT6 tracks. in the US that limits owners to what 4? the video also showed what looks like google maps and this manual refers to long amounts of recording so it could hint and some new GT content

The car is coming in an update soon, but I don't think that feature will be implemented in the game yet.

Soon™

Too bad soon is rather vague when we talk about things like this one, soon could be next month, or could be Christmas.
Also reminding that we'd get the Community Features soon, but there was no sight of it.

"Soon", "In a future update" as well as "Next Month" or "Next Year" are Kaz's favorite words, he doesn't even meet the required date on when he's supposed to release stuff in GT.

I didnt think they were required to release anything. The VGTs are the closest. This car is icing on the Cake for most of us. Free in update DLC.

It could be considered more required by those who bought the actual car with it supposed to be in the game, if its even sold as such. Even then they can just use a BE or Spec V. Love or hate PD, they are generous on after release content.

I'm eager to drive this in GT & with a member getting his own I'm interested in the representation in the game and how they compare, maybe some nice real life video of the car to compare with our GT car

You know what's painful? When the developer unofficially announces that one car is ready to be on the game, but gives no date, meaning that no one knows how long it will take for the car to be available. Now, the problem her is the fact that the car is technically already in the game, and it just requires some minor modeling and handling differences.

And I'm not saying because I want this car in the game (because honestly I don't really care that much for it), I'm saying it because if it takes PD this long to put a car in the game that technically is already in the game, then all our hope for new REAL(I say real because of VGT) cars has been shattered to pieces.

Honestly, I'm in a dire urge for a car fix right now, and I'm heavily considering to throw everything at an Xbox One and Forza 5. It would be my most irresponsible purchase of the year since I'm almost certain the game won't entertain me for more than a couple of months, but it's obvious that PD won't deliver anymore.

I have to agree with @HuskyGT regarding the way PD annoucements and officialy releases disparity. Especially in the cases where people have the game 100% complete (my case). I stopped believing PD promises of new content when they removed some of the main features of the game, and turned GT6 into a kind of GT5.5 (poor version)...

The only difference is that I cannot afford to purchase a XBOX One... :(

I can barely afford an Xbox One, but just imagining how much I would spend in Forza 5 + DLC + Xbox Live (since I imagine is mandatory now). Come to think of it, I can't really afford it either :D
